Dazhong Airport Hotel

very convenient

Very convenient location. When it’s a long transit waiting time great place to book.

Right in the middle of two terminals, the subway station is just below it. Many many eateries nearby, expensive in Chinese standard, but OK in US standard. Room is clean and quiet, but no refrigerator. I definitely will pick up this place again next time I have transfer in Pudding airport: nothing beats the feeling of walk right into the hotel from the terminal, after picking up some of your favorite drinks and snacks on your way.

This hotel (south building) requires to have a Chinese phone number to finish verification before connecting to wifi, while it shows international text option, when you choose it, it will tell you the international text option is not enabled. So basically as an international traveler without Chinese phone number, I wasn't even able to use wifi.

Convenience

Very comfortable room for a transfer/stopover option at Shanghai Pudong. Easy to find walking from Terminal 1, signs are clear.

Informed the front dest to fix the toilet.

It is a property in the terminal, so for for transfer only purpose, it serves me very well.

Nice hotel, but a little bit noisy.

Hotel is terribly run down. Reception staff very disinterested and unhelpful bordering on rude. The sky bar is padlocked shut. No information supplied in the rooms. Very very basic

Stay at the Hilton it’s a walkable distance also.

Great location in airport and train station. Reception staff friendly and prompt with our checkin they also looked after our bags when we checked out. We stayed in south entry which the foyer seam much more inviting than the north entry. Room were clean and tidy. Would have liked a couple more english channels on tv. Walls are thin had a family check in at 2am and the kids were very loud and they made noise and ran around didnt go to sleep which meant we got no sleep. Everything else was fine. Hotel ambenice was quite dark in hallways. There is a restaurant in the middle atrium of the hotel but we didnt use. Id say 7 out of 10 hotel.

Great hotel for the price and location.

The location is the biggest highlight: walking distance to both terminals at Shanghai Pudong airport. Rooms are well-priced. Getting to the hotel by car is ridiculously difficult. The meals are limited buffets with only Chinese food options. Breakfast and dinner must be paid for in-person. The food is not particularly great. The rooms are functional and clean. The TV only shows programs in standard definition and only state TV channels. The interior has a nice style.

Great location if you’re looking for a hotel close to the airport. Price was fairly reasonable. Lots of transportation nearby if you’d like to visit downtown for the day.
