Old but gold. Old hotel, old design and deco, but clean and well-maintained. Nice and firm bed, quiet rooms ensure you'll enjoy a good night's sleep. 3 restaurants, 2 of which the dim sum and Japanese restaurants are highly rated. There's a convenience stall in the lobby as well. There's a spa which we didn't get to try. The gym is basic but functional.

Price is usually reasonable. Ended up paying USD 140 a night for a pretty dated and mediocre (albeit reasonably clean) room which was pron near 3x the normal price. Fulfills the basics

Location was perfect for what we required to do in that area. Bonus being it was close to Guangzhou East Railway Station and Line 1 Metro Line.

Old style Hotel but very comfort. Friendly Staff and Good facilities. There is a 24-hour small store at the lobby.
