GreenTree Inn Shanghai Hongqiao Airport Hotel

This was a one night stay for a quick overnight work trip so the room was sufficient for the price I paid. The shower was not clean and water didn't drain well. The room was basic and didn't look the same as pictures but seemed clean enough. It was supposed to be a non smoking room but I could tell that was not the case. When I entered the room the windows had been left open ( maybe to get rid of cigarette smell? didn't work) and room was freezing. There's no food on premises or room service but a restaurant is about a four minute walk away and theres a small pay coffee machine in the lobby. Overall, not the best experience but it it could have better as the only responses I could get from front desk staff was mostly nodding even when trying a translation app.

It's a small hotel with great price, not too far from Honhqiao train station and Airport, but some distance walk to the subway station, simple but clean, if you travel light, ita not a bad choice.

Close to airport and railway station. Next to a restaurant and convenient store.

OK for one night. Not as near to the airport as they say.

Good place to stay on a budget. Nothing fancy, but the staff are friendly and the room is clean. Close to Honggqiao Airport and Railway station. I try to stay here when I'm going to and from Shanghai.

Not much to shout about, given that the price is quite reasonable and it is open to foreigners to book directly and stay in. It is a 10 to 15 minute taxi ride from Hongqiao train station.

Place is near to Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, also there are a few daily needs shops and groceries stores nearby. Taxi was easily available there, walking distance to Shanghai Zoo.

I like the place that near buses and subway. Easy to get everything. To compare with other economy hotels, I think this one is better, especially the location.

Hotel is just next to Hospital, well you have to walk for about 10min to reach the closest Train, but in front of the hotel always got bus and taxi to ride up. The train station (Line 10) is always on the way to those hotspot area too which is convenient and you do not required to interchange. Staff of this hotel is very nice! They greet us eryday and even the cleaner will ask us whether required to clean up the room. When me and my colleague have faced the problem of our China Mobile, they are willing to help too.

We just wanted a place to stay for a few hours before we flew out. Service was good, and the room was what we were looking for.

the hotel is old and staff in the front desk is terrible.

The front desk lady was so rude and unhelpful that I left! Choose to spend the night in the airport instead of being treated that way. DO NOT go there.

GPS places this hotel a few miles away from the actual hotel which is actually across a bridge closer to the entrance of the zoo (to the north). the rooms were roomy for a single bed, shower stall doesn't stop water from flowing to the rest of the bathroom (hence the warning about wet floors on the wall), glass shower enclosure covered with cabinetry (who designed this piece of @#$!?). Balcony is enclosed so don't look for photo opportunities there's Positive are good air con, perfect tv screen size for the room, and big bed. Sorry no alarm clock or personal safe. Overall the rest of the hotel needs a vacuum (badly) and improvements can be made to the rooms if the owner cared to invest in his property. So to cap, hard to find, dirty and staff speaks very minimal English. Heck, they won't even call a taxi for you. So lazy.

If you need to get to the Hongqiao train station early in the morning, it`s the right place. Very quiet at night, but no restaurants or shop open after 10.

The hotel is kind of old, but it's clean, quiet and close to many restaurants and 5 min walk away to subway station. the staff were ok. Mostly it was so inexpensive.

Close to subway. The inn is very old and need to be renovate.

Take Metro line 10 and get down at shanghai Zoo. Follow the exit for Hami Road. Outside the exit, walk about 50 metres and turn left on to Hami Road. Second bus stop is the hotel landmark. For the money you pay it is good. Downsides: The wooden floor was never mopped and no coffee provided.
