Amazing doesn’t even get you half way! This is an incredible hidden gem in Guilin. Nestled in the middle of the botanical gardens, this hotel is perfect! 10 stars! The staff is warm and welcoming and incredibly friendly and helpful, even for the non-Chinese speaking guests. The staff went above and beyond at every turn. This is a must stay if you get the chance. The rooms are huge the bed and pillows incredibly comfortable. I haven’t slept this well in years. The included breakfast was delicious, they have a pool and a pool table, table tennis and a billiards table as well. Laundry machines which are free for guests. They have it all.

This is a traditional Chinese hotel with classic furnishings. It is in the center of a beautiful park/ garden which is amazing to explore. Directly on the grounds is a inspiring Koi pond. The staff is wonderful and seemed to understand our limited Mandarin. This hotel is extremely affordable and great value for the money. We highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a peaceful very comfortable affordable stay in beautiful Guilin.

Beautiful Hotel with classic Chinese architecture. Inside a botanical garden this seems an oasis in a dessert. Chinese cities seem to always be crowded, noisy and overwhelming. So this hotel gives a peaceful break to the craziness of a Chinese vacation. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are nicely renovated. The restaurant is very good. It is true the front desk staff do not speak English, but With the use of technology, they helped us every step of the way. They organized all of our tours and transfers. I fell in love with Guilin in part for this hotel. I would highly recommend it and I am even considering going back to have my husband experience the city and a hotel

Lovely big spacious room in park setting with attentive service. On arrival, the access to this hotel is a little confusing to English speakers as it’s inside the park and GPS is not accurate. Taxi driver dropped us at shopping mall next door.

Overall a lovely hotel, but no light at night. Need a torch to walk back to my room after dinner in the hotel restaurant.

It is in a very beautiful park which provides peace and tranquility; a very rare occurrence in this country. The breakfast was fine if you went early but was not kept warm or replaced for a later breakfast.

Beautiful setting. Comfortable, classically decorated rooms. Since it's located in the middle of a botanical garden/park, great nature walks just outside the hotel. Highly recommended if you don't mind staying far from the city center. Breakfast was OK. The one time we had dinner at the hotel restaurant, it was OK, but not great. We found much better food outside the hotel.

Our stay was very comfortable. The park surrounding the hotel is beautiful, very nice for walking, and the staff were helpful. The problem is very few of them spoke English which made communicating extremely challenging. Also, the food in the restaurant was very limited, and I had a super hard time trying to make the waitresses understand what I wanted. That was exhausting. The food was also quite expensive.

Stayed 1 night only on my last day in Guilin. The hotel is actually situated inside a botanical park where the locals go to relax and exercise there. As for foreigners there need to pay to go in and this park is very kept. Our tour bus are not allowed to enter the park instead they will use a buggy to pick us from the park entrance. Check In was efficient and they even upgraded our rooms without us asking. Room are spacious and the toilet are clean, even had a bidget. The only problem was the room smell moldy and dam. Served varieties and good breakfast. In between the park there is a shopping mall with supermarket which I find it convenient to do my last day shopping for the delicacies. There is also a restaurant next to this park entrance which served very nice chinese dishes with reasonable price. We enjoyed taking a walk to see those plants, fruits trees and flowers which are beautiful. Also the pond full of carp fishes. They do have a swimming pool, but is a small one and doesnt look that clean with the fallen leaves in it.

One feels like they are staying in a Chinese ancient inn, with reflecting pools and charming old style buildings. The rooms themselves are very nice, a bit old, but completely satisfactory. The setting is wonderful with parks and walking trails everywhere. Two minor negative notes. First, I wanted them to set up a pick up at the airport. I messaged them twice on their website and once via hotels.com and they never responded. I finally got my hotel in Hong Kong to call them and set it up. Second, I got dropped off from a Li River tour a half mile away and was told to walk to the hotel. I tried to use Google maps to guide me. It took me to the wrong place! So don't use Google to find it, it is a bit tricky for taxi drivers too, as mine had to call them to find it.

Quite and very pleasant location in a botanical garden, but far from city center. Very clean in the room and in all facilities. Breakfast not exceptional, The hotel organized for us the transfer from the airport upon arrival, with a very nice and helpful guide called Jerry. He then set up all our excursions, always eager to facilitate our stay and we had the best time in Guilin. I highly recommend to use his service and co- worker David.

This was a nice hotel but very difficult to find. You get to it by a little shuttle cart at the entrance to a park. This is fine once you understand the system but a little off putting at first when a taxi just drops you at a random gate...if the taxi can find it!! The shuttle takes just 2 minutes and takes you through a great park where the locals are all out exercising. The level of English at the reception desk is not too great and if you ask for a taxi they will look at you blankly...not something we've ever experienced from a hotel before. We did find a taxi rank though, once you have got the shuttle back to the gate, if you wander down the road to the right and around the corner there is a car park, hovering at the edge of this should be some taxis.

Hotel located inside a botanical garden. Our room balcony overlooks a pond swimming with varieties of colourful carps. Room is clean, spacious and comfy. Staff speaks good English and willing to help. Outside vehicles are prohibited from entering into the garden and it is a ten minute walk from garden entrance to hotel entrance. However, hotel does provide free shuttle service via electrical tram-car between these two entrances. Nevertheless, it can be annoying when it starts to rain as you have to call the hotel for the tram to pick you up from the Garden entrance when you returned from outside. Hotel is a distance from city center. Fortunately cab fare is cheap in Guilin. Oh, another thing, there is absolutely no drinks in the mini bar. I remembered waking up one night and have a craving for soft drink....... Overall, hotel environment is desirable despite a few inconveniences.

This hotel is situated within the botanical garden of Guilin, a beautifully maintained park a few kilometers from city centre (a easy taxi ride of CNY 12-20). The hotel itself is even more gorgeous. The rooms are, clean, spacious and well appointed. The grounds are beautiful, with ponds and gardens worthy of a royal villa. In addition, the staff is friendly and breakfast is very good. I would definitely stay here again if I have the opportunity to visit Guilin in the future.

There are not enough great words to express and describe how wonderful this hotel/complex/service is. From the manger Yuki to all staff, the rooms, the food (breakfast included in fee) and other meals, just the total relaxing ambiance of this hotel set in a beautiful huge botanic garden. To just escape from the city which is also beautiful, to come and stay in this luxury and relaxation if beyond, beyond. Thank you Yuki and all the staff for a wonderful week with you. I had lost my sister a week before arriving and being here and enjoying the area and surrounds, just what I needed to help heal.

We spent 6 nights here. Existing reviews were an accurate guide. The setting is lovely. We booked a car for a day to take us to jingli and would really recommend this as a highlight. Hotel was great. They made me porridge every morning! It's a Chinese hotel though not a chain and there is no doubt that speaking a little Chinese helped.
