One of the best hotels in Xiamen

Hilton Xiamen is inside a high end shopping mall Paragon. The city center location is convenient to travel different places. However, it’s more for business travelers. It’s still about 6 kilometers to the tourist district. Tourists may want to check out hotels south of here. The hotel is a bit dated, but the room was spacious and the bed comfortable, shower was hot and strong. Everything was provided. Breakfast was nice and served food meets east and west. 24 hours gym, an outdoor pool etc. I was impressed most with the staff who were very helpful, including room cleaning, counter, and concierge Jason who went above and beyond helping me with getting around the town using public transportation. It’s a great hotel and great service.

We had a great time. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room is spacious and very clean. The amenity is generous with reliable quality. With what we paid, it’s very valuable.

Housekeeping service was really good. Gave me extra water and teabags seeing that I finished everything. Very dedicated. Front desk staff's service can be better, but overall good.

This property is in a big shopping mall where there are a lot of luxury brands like Gucci, MCM, Vivien Westwood, and some local high end clothing. there is also hair dressers, coffee, tea and souvenir shops. I enjoy the most is the dinning options they have. The cleaning was acceptable, but the house keeper forgot to stock toilet paper and not enough towels were provided. Hotel reception was not enthusiastic to help, if the guest insist, some of them may help. Hotel facilities are average and dated. shower pressure is good, hot water is 24 hrs. Power point for hair dryer was not working, they wasn't able to repair during my stay. Hair dryer is average. tea bags, coffee bags are only soso. paid RMB 800/night for 5 nights, I think for the location and safety, it worths it. across the road 4 star hotel cost only half of the price but room is smaller. overall a good experience, I may stay again, but I may book in advance, probably will get a better deal.

I liked the service very much a specially the way they helped me in anyway possible.

My family stayed at the Hilton in Xiamen for a relaxing holiday. We chose this location because it was a western hotel also because of the pool. Unfortunately a few incidents can make a hotel stay unpleasant despite the nice facilities. One evening we went to the pool and were told by the staff that our swimwear was not appropriate for the pool. We were wearing western style board shorts. We were very frustrated with the language barrier and being told to change. We went back to the room and called the manager. Apparently earlier another customer complained because these were not customary swimwear in pools. Other people were wearing similar swimwear at the time. The manager's solution was for us to wear the speedo type swimwear that they sold at the desk. Other customers were not wearing this swimwear. We felt singled out and annoyed. The management was not helpful with a resolution.

Great location, very convenient to get around. Service is as good as what you will expected to get from Hilton. This property was rebranded from Crowne plaza to Hilton, facilities and decoration might be a bit outdated already. And toiletries are Crabtree & Evelyn which normally adopted by Doubletree. Despite of those, still a good choice if you want to stay in this area.

The first night there was no room service after 10. I didn’t know this until I tried to order food at 11. The third night they had room service but only had a salad or spaghetti available

It was too loud. I could hear cars beeping all night. The first night for no given reason and with no notice the room service kitchen closed at 10. The third night room service was open but of the entire menu they only had Caesar Salad or Spaghetti. And the spaghetti was cold and bland.
