Friendly staff and room was clean. 15 minutes walk to the nearest metro station. The only drawback is that there is no coffee shop at or near the hotel. Overall, it is a great hotel.

Amazing stay! a fantastic breakfast!

The hotel itself was very nice and relaxing. It is in walking distance to the Olympic port. The sea view room was AWESOME! Even thou it was an awesome stay, I still have couple of things to say to people who have young child with them. Firstly, there were no metro station near the hotel, closest one will be about 1.3Km away. There is a bus stop just round the corner. Secondly, there is a helipad near the hotel at the port, you will still be able to hear helicopter landing and taking off, my son was so excited to see the helicopter he demands us to stay there again next time. (lol) Thirdly, There are not much tourist attractions around the hotel, you will either have to take a taxi (what we did) or take public transport, it takes around 30min to get to the city center. Overall, this was an awesome stay and I will not hesitate to book here again for my next trip to QingDao.

It is probably the worst Intercontinental hotel i have ever stayed in terms of room condition. Room deco worn out, water taps and shower were bad.....a classic over-rated hotel in china.

Checked into a smoking room. Room was dated & furniture old. Floor condition bad with loose tiles. Location is good and easy to get taxi. Walking distance to Sailing Club where view and food were great. Staff friendly and efficient

Nice Hotel have stayed 3 times would be happy to stay again

We stay here sometimes and usually book a Club room with lounge access. We don't expect the food in the lounge to be some kind of five star Michelin buffet. But this weekend the quality of the food was way below acceptable. The crackers for the cheese were soggy. The food that should have been hot was cold. When the food ran out, the refills were slow to happen. And the selection was poor compared to previous stays. It was definitely not worth the extra money we spent for lounge access. Another problem we had was with our baby food. Our baby is still young and has allergies, so we brought her food from home and asked them to heat it up for us when we were dining in the lounge. It was brought back stone cold. Then my husband took it all the way down to the front desk and asked them for help. One of the women took him to one of the hotel restaurants. Then one of the restaurant workers yelled at her in Chinese. They had a very obvious spat in front of him. Then the women finally takes my husband into the kitchens. She leaves him there to wait for the food to get warmed up and disappears without a word, so my husband has to find his own way out of the maze. This whole process took almost half an hour, which cut into our dinner time at the lounge. One of the managers asked us the next day how our stay was, but we were trying to check out and had a baby to wrangle, so I did not give her the full story. I hope our stay was an anomaly. We may give them one more chance.
