There for a short break during the work week. It was a great way to unwind - walking on the beach, sitting by the pool sipping beer. Definitely a place to go for that much needed break

Everything was good. Just wished they know that this is a tropical resort n accept sarong as a form of dress. When they told me to get dressed properly in the club after a swim I found that horrendous!

Great shower design

there was a lack of staff working in the resort overall. there wasnt anyone at the beach to serve towels and drinks, we even need to clean up the glasses ourselves. concierge staffs not offering help on calling cabs or asking what our needs but chatting on their own. staffs in general were not proactively helpful - only direct you to here and there for service instead of helping/serving you. spa was great though. excellent service especially my spaist, Mary.

A wonderful hotel with great access to the beach. Staff are superb and Terrance did his utmost to make me have an enjoyable stay upon check in. The only thing that would be nicer is if they had more space near the beach front in the resort for the sea breeze where the palm trees don't block the sun.

Check in was a total nightmare. Booked 2 rooms and checked in at 1230pm and was told room will be ready at 3pm which is understandable. Returned at 3pm, got keys to 1 room and was told they’ll call me when the other room is ready. At 6pm when I returned to check because no call was made to me; they told me the other room was ready. All the guy at the front desk did was just blame the back office as if it wasn’t his problem.

We have stayed for our weekends in Intercontinental hotel not for a first time. This is our favourite relaxing spot. All here breath by peaceful: nature, landscapes, spacious rooms with a huge privat terraces, the room`s view for the small lakes. The only sounds you will hear in the night is a singing of some night creations living there and an ocean waves. Bathroom with a small garden behind of the glassed wall is something exactly like nowhere else! Highly recommended for a romantic holidays or those who seeking for privacy and deep relax! Breakfast buffet provides a wide choice of dishes and drinks. The only we found in the restaurant was not enough staff to remove used tablewares. Reception, housekeeping,recreation personnel were absolutely friendly and hospitable. Guest relation Max made our stay memorable and helped to resolve our small problems immediately. We will definitely return again!

The bad: From the 40 min wait to get the check in done to mistakes to my credit card billing. My staff was paved with small nuisances from the staff hotel. The staff really tries but most of them don’t speak English. Everyday it was a problem to communicate our needs. Every time I tried to order room service they couldn’t take my order to I was force to go to the lobby and ask someone from there to order for me. I been on the island before and it’s the first time I have such difficulties when trying to communicate my needs while in the hotel. I repeat the staff tries hard but it is not enough. At the end of the day they left me with bad impression of the Intercontinental hotels. I was surprised since I have stayed in other Intercontinental properties around the world but is the first time I find such difficulties. The good: The rooms are wide and really nice but the property it’s starting to deteriorate and you can tell. The view is really nice and having a balcony was a nice touch. One point I would really like to point out was the food. The food was really good a bit pricey but everything was delicious and memorable. At the restaurant, they will give a tablet with an English menu with pictures so you can order easily. That was a good point. And there are some restaurants and minimarts around the area. Their food is also nice and really cheap.

Expedia shows that a superior room includes complimentary breakfast. We booked 2 superior rooms. The staff refuses to honor the complimentary breakfast despite the fact that this is published on the Expedia website. We had to pay full price for the breakfast upon check out. Very unhappy ....

stay at club room is enjoyable as there are exclusive club areas n pool for club room guests, allow to stay away from the crowd of other guests for a better comfort.

My room is very good, and all the hotel facilities are very good too, but one more thing that I felt not convenient...... Is the Hotle location, hard to get public transports, only by taxi to hotel......

Lots of ants, quality of the sands in the beach not really good, hard to get taxi

We had read some not so good review of food but found this not to be the case- there was both eastern and western styles. The banquets were good. We had a wonderful relaxing break spending 4 days by each of the pools. Very refreshing to find a great escape. Looking forward to going again
