My friends and I rented rooms at the Rosewood as we were attending a party at the hotel bar. We were awestruck by the luxurious accommodations. The shopping options were great but one of the male members of concierge was rude. I was asking for directions to the bank from the female concierge and he felt I didn't stay at the hotel and got aggressive. I had to show him my room card for him to then realize I'm not a freeloader. Also the directions given to the bank near the railway station was closed undergoing repair.

The hotel is a solid 4 star experience. Like an average business hotel. It’s far from luxury if that is what you are looking for. The building itself seems to be repurposed and was probably designed for another purpose than hotel. The views from low and mid floors are looking into a neighbourhood that is one you would prefer not to see. The breakfast was not only busy with long lines of waiting, it was also at best average. Nothing to write about. Waiting time to check in and check out also long. Maybe they were understaffed or just not properly trained. Had a water leak in the room and it took them some time to fix. The bedding felt average, pillows were so so. The lifts are slow and seem they don’t use all lift packs, perhaps to save money. Again long waiting times. The more I think of it, this hotel isn’t good at all. Anyone that knows a good hotel would be disappointed. For the record this hotel has absolutely nothing in common with Rosewood in HK, which is a great hotel. Think like an upgraded Novotel or maybe an old Sheraton and you would be having the right expectations. Apologies for the honesty.

The service failed terribly for a luxury hotel. Staff has lost their smile, no greetings at night. No replacement of bathrobe, had to call housekeeping for another one. I felt unwelcomed for the entire stay. This was my first and shall be my last stay at Rosewood.

Feels like home. Home, if you lived in a well maintained king's lodge :) A king that keeps up with the times. Watch TV while in bed, or turn on the mirror embedded TV while brushing your teeth. Set the mood with the push of a button, night-mode or full illumination. Hungry late at night? Order in some very delicious meals, all through the night. Maybe have a drink from the wide variety you'll find in the refrigerator and on the bar shelves. Then sleep in. No worries, breakfast is available until 12. Woke up early morning and want to work a bit? Separate A/C for the living area and bed area allows you to feel comfortable on the sofa while she's enjoying sleeping in a crisp cool air. Don't worry, the late checkout option gives you plenty of time to refresh before moving on to your next destination.

Wonderful stay at Rosewood! Our flight was delayed 10 hours and we arrived at hotel 5:00am but Rosewood staff made us feel v at home and was v efficient to prepare room for us. It was so nice that we quickly forgot about our flight problems.
