Strategic hotel location near the Metro Station, and there is a Family Mart next to the hotel and other small snack stores. Shoutout to the Concierge team, especially Hao Yong Zhong (if I'm not mistaken) for taking care of my broken luggage and supporting me to book a taxi to my other destination. All I can say is The Eton is worth the money.

One of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at. Best service and best location. It is very near the metro subway Pudong Avenue; if you have no luggage, you can take exit 1, but if you have luggage, then take exit 6. They have a very wide window, so you can see the Huang Pu River and city view. There are a convenience store, restaurant, and Mixue attached to the hotel. I will come back to this hotel if I go to Shanghai.

This is one of the best money spent on a 5-star hotel for me. For less than $100, we got a spacious room with a bathtub, nice amenities, a powerful hairdryer, and a great view of Shanghai. And also free breakfast with plenty of variety of foods! Nicely located as well. Only a few minor downsides like the shower head is too narrow, breakfast was average tasting. Definitely would stay here again if I plan to go to Shanghai again in the future.

We highly recommend The Eton Hotel. We had a beautiful room facing The Huang Pu river and the city. The building is located close to the city centre and you can admire fantastic views straight after leaving the hotel. The staff at the hotel were amazing. Our room was carefully and beds were made every single day. We were provided with fresh bottled wated. Breakfasts at the hotel were tasty and freshly prepared. My wife especially enjoyed waffles and pancakes. We enjoyed our stay at The Eton. We will surely come back!

One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the breakfast. It was absolutely worth it, with a great variety of high-quality options that catered to different tastes. Everything was fresh and well-prepared, and it really set a great tone for the day. Overall, the combination of comfortable rooms and an outstanding breakfast made our experience very enjoyable. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai.

This hotel boasts the most unfriendly staff I’ve ever encountered in all my travels.I booked a 5 nights stay, which was marred by poor service from the start.Upon checkin, front desk staff Mia Wang was noticeably impatient when answering questions, while it was an unpleasant 1st impression,I initially brushed it off.The room itself was subpar: the lighting was very dim, making it impossible to apply makeup properly, even with the blinds open. The mirrors were smudged, staff frequently conversed loudly in the hallways. It got worse on day 3.I needed to check out 1 day early for a surgery.Expedia sent the request, but the hotel claimed they never received it.A 2nd request was sent,I personally called the hotel to assist. The staff was impatient &claimed the "incorrect form"was used.I went to the front desk & spoke with Mia Wang again. After explaining my medical circumstances, she dismissively stated:”It’s not my duty to find out your booking request.”I insisted she call the booking department, the woman on the phone was equally hostile, raising her voice at me for asking how to proceed.Due to these inexcusable delays & stress,I checked out early. The front desk manager,Kevin Chen, offered a hollow apology after I showed him my medical documents. He said“I’m sorry about your experience” but it was clear it was insincere.Ultimately, the hotel rejected my refund request after I had already left.Thankfully, Expedia understood my predicament & processed the refund. I don’t recommend this hotel.
