Best service we have received on our trip that included stays at Sheraton Grand in Hangzhou and at the Ritz Carlton in Beijing. We were not unhappy at the other locations but the Langham in Shanghai just exceeded our expectations. We only have good things to say about the people working here. The breakfast buffet was not a great value but the package we received made it a lot better. If you have the opportunity to use the spa, it is very relaxing.

Really nice hotel in a relatively newer area in Shanghai. Good customer servie, clean big rooms, nice housekeeping. Very close to subway, resturants and shopping.

I had a wonderful stay, the room was lovely and the service was excellent. Ms Zoe Peng the Langham Club manager exceeded any and all of my expectations. Her warm and friendly demeanor every day was extraordinary and was the highlight of my morning every single day. I have stayed at many properties in Shanghai and the Langham will be my new home away from home when traveling to Shanghai. 10 out of 5 stars.

It's a five-star hotel that could use some updating.
The decor feels a bit dated. However, the rooms are comfortable and have everything you need.
The bed, specifically the mattress, is a bit firm-similar to the mattresses you'd find in Japanese hotels. I woke up with back pain almost every day, meaning the bed isn't particularly comfortable.
That said, the hotel is extremely well-located in a beautiful and upscale area of Shanghai. It also features a great spa with a pool, jacuzzi, saunas, and a gym.
Overall, I would stay at this hotel again-but with the understanding that I'll likely wake up with back pain every night due to the mattress.

Hi i stayed at the Langham in Shanghai and loved it, it was great service comfortable beds, and in a very walk-able area. lots of restaurants and malls and shops. We actually even walked to the Bund. took about 35 min it was a great walk

Staff were exceptional, so helpful and friendly. The room was spotless and the housekeeping staff always kept to our requested time and left everything spotless. The area around the hotel has lots of restaurants and a quick 5 minute walk to the metro station puts the rest of Shanghai on your doorstep.
I would stay again the next time we visit Shanghai.

Nice hotel. The rooms are a bit tired but still very clean and nice. The hotel lobby is a bit garish compared with hotels like the Puli. The entrance is very busy and hectic
