The location of the hotel is very nice, the breakfast is very delicious, the pool is very well maintained and modern. The rooms are very clean and tidy. The hotel staff is very respectful and educated.

This location was nothing less than AMAZING!!! In the heart of the Walled City. Great staff. They were always polite and friendly. More importantly, very helpful. If you are looking for quiet silence, this isn’t the place. As I’ve said before, it’s located in the heart of the Walled City and they love to party in the Walled City!!! I would recommend this location to all of my family and friends. Thanks guys, you’ve truly went above and beyond.

This property was amazing! I’ve been to Cartagena a few times and stayed at other properties however I decided to take a chance and I am happy I did! It’s so close to everything in the central area. Thank you so much to the staff that made my trip feel welcoming.

Nos encantó la localización, cerca de todo a pasos. También las atenciones del personal, en especial de Antonio en portería y Benjamin en la recepción. La chica de la limpieza también sumamente atenta y servicial . Deben tener mejor cuidadas las instalaciones porque no cuentan con decoración y pierden cuidado en los detalles de las instalaciones, nunca del trato de su personal porque son excelentes.

Location is great. However on a Tuesday night there was music blasting well into the wee hours of the morning. The safe didn’t have a handle to properly open it and no one ever came to fix it. Room was also very small and the bathroom sink didn’t drain properly.

Excellent location and decent room. We enjoyed using the rooftop swimming pool as well. It would have been good to have the option of pool towels as otherwise you have to use the ones from your room. We didn’t take up the option of the buffet breakfast as we felt 16 dollars per person was a little expensive and there was no children’s discount, but there are plenty of dining options nearby.

Definitely not an 8! I want to start by saying I never would have booked this if the rating represented the property- again 5-6!!
I will not mention the noise, I was prepared for noise being from NYC and now Miami Beach. Noise was not an issue. The balcony doors blocked a lot of the noise and the other good thing I have to say is that the bed was very comfortable.
The rooftop was so run down and dingy and NOT like the pictures at all. I was expecting to spend time there but there was no shade and dirty old plastic furniture.
I was so disgusted by most of the streets in the walled city. The streets smell bad, very bad! There is dirty water poodles that smell like urine and feces! The vendors are the WORST part! I probably will not be back to Cartagena just based on the tricky, pushy, rude vendors. They would attack me as soon as I stepped foot on the dirty streets.
The safety was definitely a concern. There was a huge police vehicle parked in front of the hotel all night long. That actually made me more concerned and uncomfortable. There are prostitutes and drug dealers as soon as you step on to the corner or in front of the hotel. Truly disgusting. We traveled with our young daughter. We checked into another hotel after two nights and lost our money for the other 4 nights - I literally had to get out of there!
Finally, the breakfast sucks! Do not pay for the expensive breakfast even though they will be very pushy.

The hotel is great. Rooms comfortable and staff friendly. The food in the restaurant is excellent and pool on the roof top has a wonderful view, but the area is incredibly noisy at night. We had a room looking over the square to the front of the building but the noise at night is insufferable. We had to move our room to the side of the building. Colombians never sleep they party all night long! Cartagena is a wonderful place to visit we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will return. The restaurants are excellent and shopping is great.

This hotel is located right in the center of everything. It's meters away from the piers for visiting the islands, and right in the middle of all the action. That's good, or bad, depending on your preferenes.
Rooms are a bit small, AC isn't that strong, but overall everything worked fine and location was great.
