We had a wonderful stay the night before an early flight out of SJO. The location is convenient to the airport and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was very quiet and comfortable. The building itself is beautiful. We plan to stay here again on our next trip to Costa Rica!

We liked the friendly and competent staff. The excellent breakfast. The character of the old building particularly the common areas.

Friendly staff. Building is beautiful. Room 15 was noisy. Right by street Trucks and motorcycles wake me up in the morning. Bring ear plugs. You hear the door bell every times it rings. WIFI good in hall but not room for #15. Banks, shopping, restaurants and local bars. Nicer bars and beautiful mall are a short uber away.

I would recommend the great 1915 Hotel for its close proximity to the airport, accommodating staff, great room and wonderful breakfast in a tropical setting. 😀

When we arrived lare at night we were greeted immediately ar the door and were given all the information required for our stay. The host is gracious and informative. Our breakfast this morning was in a charming and lush dining area. We would definitely come and stay here again!

The 1915 Hotel was a delightful place to stay before catching my flight at the San Jose airport. The interior public spaces are charming, the room was great, the traditional Costa Rican breakfast was excellent, and the staff was very helpful. I highly recommend!!

We pulled up to hotel around 11:00 pm, no lights were on. We didn't even know if it was open and there was no place to park. The neighborhood did not seem safe. We left and found alternate accomadations.

Love the interior design of this one time private home. An amazing assortment of vintage furniture and fixtures to accompany it...

Beautiful authentic Co

The building was very pretty, paintings and lobbies very historical. But the actual room, no soap, one trashcan in bathroom. When you book your room, make sure you ask for a/c because economy means no air.. Also, you have to be buzzed in and wait for somebody to come to the door. Room bathrooms just had one towel outlet did work and they do not clean your room every day as stated, you must ask for it. Also, there is no water provided for you. The staff was very nice and tried real hard to make you feel comfortable.

Didn't get the room I reserved, was supposed to of had a queen bed and air conditioning

The hotel interior is beautiful, comfortable, and quiet.

Quick overnight stay after a late flight into the country. The hotel is very cute, parking is a couple buildings down and secure but difficult to park in. There is a police station directly across the street and we felt plenty safe walking to restaurants.
