Hotel Secreto La Fortuna

Always a pleasure to stay here. Beds are very comfy. And the breakfast menu has great options to chose from.

Centrally located near shops and dining. Rooms were comfortable. View was pretty.

We had a quick stop in La Fotuna, but Secreto hotel was the perfect stay. So close to eveything. The rooms were nice and clean and Fabrizio who greeted us was spectacular! The grounds are very beautiful and the breakfast was great.

Great little hotel in the heart of La Fortuna. Walkable to all restaurants. Beautiful grounds. The staff, especially Fabricio was so kind & helpful, he deserves a raise!

Staff was very friendly and ready to help. We had an issue with the toilet and they came to help right away and resolved the issue. Location was great and very walkable to town. Beautiful grounds and pool looked beautiful. (We didn’t end up using it due to thunderstorms but wished we had been able to). They were wonderful and accommodated our early morning departure with an early breakfast. It was a very nice place to stay.

We really love this hotel. Just think the breakfast needs improvement.

We had a lovely 4 night stay. Great location, and nice restaurants nearby (especially Trevesia). Great view of the volcano, nice and clean grounds with very friendly staff and guests. Breakfast was simple but good (3 options: eggs fried or scrambled, either with toast, pancakes, or rice/beans). Overall, a nice 3-star hotel, we were happy with this choice.

Beautiful hotel I felt like a botanical garden highly recommend

Nuestra estadía en el Hotel El Secreto en La Fortuna fue maravillosa. El lugar es hermoso, con una vista espectacular al volcán Arenal, lo que hizo que cada mañana fuera especial. El servicio fue excelente. El recepcionista siempre nos saludaba con una sonrisa y fue muy amable al recomendarnos lugares para comer. Además, reservando con ellos obtuvimos un descuento en las aguas termales de Baldi, y también ofrecen otras excursiones con precios especiales si las compras directamente con ellos. La habitación era amplia, cómoda y el baño estaba en excelentes condiciones. Lo único que podría mencionar es que al estar en el primer piso, se escuchaban algunas conversaciones de personas que pasaban cerca, pero no fue algo que afectara mucho la experiencia. Definitivamente me volvería a quedar aquí. La ubicación es ideal, ya que se puede caminar fácilmente a varios restaurantes, bares y cafés. Lo recomiendo sin dudar.

Vert relaxing place

Comfortable bed, good breakfast, nice-helpful staff. Our only suggestion for improvement would be the sound on the television was crackling like the speaker was busted.

The hospitality was the best we experienced in Costa Rica. The breakfast service was amazing. The room was everything it promised and more! The privacy and the safety measures they take are far above and beyond anything we experienced else where. The staff were absolutely professional, kind, courteous, and helpful at all times. If you were going to go to La Fortuna, this is where you stay no other place.

This hotel was a great value with excellent staff and a delicious breakfast. The rooms were very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Excellent location for walking around town and a very safe property. I had a relaxing stay.

Resort is great, nice garden inside and small but nice pool. Rooms were ok, too small for a family but decent and clean. Very close to great restaurants and the volcano tours.

The property was beautiful - we saw birds, hummingbirds, and frogs regularly. The staff were helpful, and breakfast was AMAZING.
