The hotel owner was so friendly and helpful. He picked us up at the airport, helped us with our bags, provided all kinds of tips and helpful information. We extended our stay a night due to a cancelled flight and he was able to accomodate us. The restaurant that provides the bed and breakfast packed a lunch for us for one of our tours at no charge. The location was superb!

This room was very spacious with a large bathroom, sitting area and bed. The bed and pillows were so comfortable that I want the same at my home. We loved how convenient it was to everything in old town Split. We would definitely stay again.

This place is not for the faint heart…small spiral staircase to the rooms. Ours was in the attic.
The AC did not work and when I let them know, but nothing was done. The room was uncomfortable due to the slanted ceilings and no AC. The shower gets water everywhere…do not understand the designs of showers that aren’t enclosed. I hurt my neck trying to avoid hitting my head on the slanted ceilings. The location is amazing and the breakfast was good at a nearby restaurant.

Great location in the old town, room and service were wonderful. Loved all the amenities like robes as a slippers, even beverages in the fridge. The most comfortable room we stayed in during our trip to Croatia. Breakfast was included at a local restaurant which was convenient and delicious. Highly recommend.

Grgur Ninski rooms are in an amazing location right inside the historic centre of the Old City. The clean and comfortable rooms have been beautifully renovated. The very helpful owner sent us restaurant suggestions, instructions for our arrival and he also parked our car making everything stress free. The complimentary drinks in the fridge were much appreciated. Highly recommended for a stay in Split.

Firstly the excellent and personal welcome from our host. Great recommendations for eating at things to do. Right in the heart of old town, shutters open onto the street- yet still comfortable and relaxing and quiet at night. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Split. We shall return.

The hotel has lots of character as it is built within the walls of the very old palace but the room is fully modernised. The bed is comfortable and the room is clean and well maintained
If you are arriving from the airport, definitely take advantage of the driver service to the hotel.
If you are arriving after hours, make sure you have the phone number of the manager so you can get in.

The location of these rooms is wonderful. Falcon, our host, greeted us enthusiastically soon after arrival with much information about our stay and the local dining options. The room was very comfortable with a stocked mini-bar. This was a welcome treat. The showers were hot with plush bath towels, bathrobes and slippers. The history of the Diocletian Palace is right there in the room with a stone wall and windows that are a testament to the history of this building. The breakfast at the LVXOR Hotel (2 minutes away) was delicious and served in yet another part of the palace overlooking the square. There were so many dining options with 1 to 5 minutes from the rooms. Falcon would have taken us to the airport but we had already prepaid for a ride. Overall, this was a fantastic three nights in Split.
