The host messaged us as soon as our flight touched down. He left instructions on how to enter the property and we were able to settle ourselves in quickly and easily. The rooms were clean and well appointed. We couldn’t have asked for a better location.

We loved Split Palace Luxury Retreat. Nestled right in the middle of anywhere you would you would want to go in Old Town, the room was a perfect location. It was charming and clean. I would stay there again and recommend it.

This place was awesome to stay at .. cool and the a/c is great, bed was good but the stove top didn’t work … but no worries, good food all around. A small freezer or ice machine would be lovely! Thank you for a wonderful place to call home!

Host never responded to messages after check in. Did not offer change for paying local tax with a larger bill and we never heard from him for the rest of our stay.
We had no idea where to leave the key upon departure. Pretty so so experience, good location.

The room is not in a hotel, as hotelis traditionally pictured. It is a building in old town with multiple sized rooms. We were staying only 2 nights and price was a factor when I booked it months ago.
The room was private with its own bathroom. The room was very small with very little storage space for luggage or backpacks. Split can be noisy with all the tourists. This room was soundproof and had air conditioning.
No real amenities. Minimal instant coffee, a couple tea bags. There is no luxury to,it….its a bed and bathroom.
Soap dispenser in shower was broken. Shade on the one window in room was broken.
It was comfortable for 2 nights. All employees we dealt with were wonderful. But the lack of space was noticeable. If I went back to Split I would stay elsewhere, only for a little more space

Pluses: Quiet, safe, centrally locsted.The room was big enough for a queen bed and that was about it. The room didn't look like the internet photos. No shampoo.The shade was broken, plus one had to walk up 50 steps. Not worth the money.

We were met by extremely friendly and helpful Toma who gave us a tour of the apartment and lots of information, website links and ideas of things to do in Split. We had a top floor apartment which consists of 1 bedroom and open plan living room and kitchen / dining area, and of course, a bathroom. So plenty of room for a couple. Our apartment was super quiet, we could not hear anything from other apartments or outside street noise. The apartment was very clean, beautifully decorated, both bedroom and open plan areas had an air con (must have when it's 30+C outside) and the kitchen is well equipped in case you're planning for a longer stay. The location is amazing; pretty much everything in the old historical centre of Split is up to 5 mins walk, including a seafront (or Riva) with plenty of restaurants and artisan stalls. The ferry terminals to nearby islands as well as coach station and railway station are up to 10 mins walk away. In summary, an amazing apartment in an amazing location.

Perfectly located, would be hard to find a more ideal location, close to the main promenade and the water, as well as a leisurely 10 minute waterfront stroll or so from the main bus station where the Airport Shuttle bus arrives.
Room has modern amenities, including a hand steamer for ironing as well as Netflix (and other streamers) available on the TV, (sign into your own account and remember to sign out before you leave!). The room was compact, clean and renovated, perfect for me travelling solo.
Staff were extremely friendly and also went out of their way to help me with an issue I had, making sure I received a package being sent to me.
Bathroom is clean, modern and has good water pressure and plumbing. Bed was fine and comfortable.
I was in Split when the temperature was hot and the air conditioner has the ability to turn the room into an ice box if desired — I could walk around in a fur coat like Zsa Zsa Gabor (if need be) whilst it was 34 degrees Celsius outside.
Would recommend this place to anyone. Other than the disabled or those elderly with very heavy bags as you have to climb two flights of internal stairs to reach the room. You ARE met by a host who lets you in and can potentially help with luggage.
I stayed 3 nights and the room was not serviced, you’re on your own as no staff on site, I had no worries with that. They are contactable by WhatsApp for any issues.

My husband and myself loved this amazing apartment . It was in a perfect location in the Old Town . It has fantastic accommodation and super air con. One of the most comfortable stays we had in Croatia . We were met by Toma who was the loveliest most helpful guy. We can’t wait to return .

You could throw a stone and hit the World famous Riva Promenade from the property! Its situated literally seconds walk from the sea-front! We felt like we were on a movie set! You walk out the front door and are literally in the epicentre of Split old town!
Charming room with exposed walls and the best aircon and bed we have ever experienced.
Karlos made our trip though. Gave us the warmest Croatian welcome ever and left us with tons of amazing recommendations! He went above and beyond for us out check out and made everything seamlessly easy.
Would have no hesitation in recommending this property and the amazing Karlos!
Perfect city break proposition and room comes with a tv fridge and shower.
We had everything we needed and hope to visit Split again. We will be sure to look up Karlos in this eventuality!

Fantastic location. I realize European rooms tend to be small, but this way, way too small. There was not enough floor space to open our small suitcases. Neither was there enough room in the closet. The bathroom had similar issues. They really need to put up hooks / towel racks so there is a bit more space beyond the one small shelf.
