Great greeting. Wonderful vibe. Spacious room. Funky design. Loved the circular bar area and the small Lounge rooms on ground floor. Also took advantage of the sauna and sun deck. Free water, seltzer, beer wine and snacks in room minibar. (Ask at desk for refill) We were prepared for room not being cleaned (elected the ‘green’ option. Was totally fine.

This hotel is absolutely adorable! The attention to detail with the design is fantastic and the room was a great size - just be aware that the shower is pretty exposed if you’re traveling with anyone you aren’t comfortable seeing nude. The restaurant and bar were both great, and the location was perfect for exploring and close to the Metro too!

This is a great place to stay for first-timers (like us) in Copenhagen. Close to many attractions you are likely going to want to see, and as close to metros to get elsewhere in the city or beyond. Tons of restaurants in the neighborhood which is quite lively by day, but surprising quiet and peaceful in the evening. Stayed in one of the "passion" rooms, which might be a bit awkward for families (suggest you book their "knowledge" rooms). Also, the bed was too soft for my back, but your mileage may vary!

No bag assistance when a property has cobblestones, numerous steps and long hallways is unacceptable for this category and price. The property was loud. No bathrobes (not enough for all guests despite this being offered as an amenity one has to self collect at reception), housekeeping only on request, and very limited menu. Don’t be sold on the decor and free mini bar. This is not a great property and feels tired and old, a bit gimmicky best for a 24 hour stay at most. The extra large rooms are nice but otherwise I don’t think it’s worth it.

The hotel is cool and very well located however, the service is nonexistent. Everything you asked for you needed to come down to the lobby and get yourself. One day, my room was not serviced. He came up from the bar with a drink, and since there were so many flies on the room, I took out the glass and left it outside the door expecting someone from housekeeping will remove, his glass was left there for more than 24 hours. We booked the XL room, which was more spacious so this was good at least. The amenities on the room are very mediocre. there's no proper coffee machine easy to use. For the price I don't think this hotel is worth it .

There steps to get to our room on floor 2. There were no bell boys to get luggage at the street. Great receptionist had to help us on stairs. No carts to move luggage. Picked hotel with elevator but stil 5 steps to navigate to our room. Good location. Canal tour was very good.

We had no sleep at all until 4:30 am on our first night. The hotel has many rooms facing an extremely noisy street, where shouting and arguments continue right through the night. The existing double glazing is completely inadequate for this level of noise. The curtains consist of one thin layer and a blackout curtain, which do nothing to block sound. At the very least, the room would need an additional inner window or a second set of double-glazed panes, plus a thick, noise-deadening curtain. The number one priority of any hotel should be to give its guests a good night’s sleep. This room fails 100% in that regard. As many others have said, this hotel is more concerned with looking like an Instagram snapshot from ten years ago than with addressing its many basic faults. I won’t waste time listing them – just read the 3, 2 and 1-star reviews and you’ll see the pattern: endless complaints, the usual “sorry to hear” responses, and no real action. I travel almost every month across Europe, and this hotel has left one of the worst impressions. At best, it’s a 2-star property – the shower old, there’s no genuine room service, and the so-called “environmental” excuses are laughable when they don’t even provide a plug for the sink, as others have mentioned. It’s overpriced, and while the location is often described as “good”, remember this: Copenhagen is small – everywhere is close to everything. The reality here is noise, not convenience.

We were horrified when the hotel informed us that they don’t offer housekeeping because they are eco-friendly and instead of making up your bed they plant a tree instead! How does not making your bed equal planting a tree? I have travelled the world and that is the most ridiculous policy that I have ever encountered. I don’t go on holiday and pay thousands to make my own bed.
