We had a nice stay but on the site it said bikes could be hired. We asked but the hotel didn’t have any which meant we had to rely on expensive taxis and the bus. Only on the last day did we realise Birkerod station had bolt bikes which would have been great to get about on as we decided not to hire a car .

Stayed here during our trip because we like to be away from the tourist areas and we also had a car so the location being 20 mins outside central Copenhagen was great. Very lovely leafy suburb with plenty of conveniences nearby. You do need a car at this property though, without transport it would be too inconvenient. Plenty of free parking outside and the hotel itself was in very good condition, it would have been perfect but we had to change room on the second night because the heating in our room stopped working but the young man on reception quickly organised a new room for us, which actually had a better TV with access to Netflix. Breakfast was very good, a wide selection and lots of tables to eat in peace. This hotel is very much a conference hotel for business people which made it very quiet and calm, I didn't see any children there, which was perfect foflr us because we like to experience being among the locals instead of tourists. Would definitely stay here again when visiting wonderful Copenhagen.

I have stayed at this hotel a few times and it is a nice place to stay. The rooms are generally clean. Small but understandable criticism is they do not have air-con or balconies. No normally an issue in DK but it was 30c when I stayed.
