Go Hotel Herlev

Staff were amazing. We were arriving late but got held up in UK where our flight was delayed over 3 hours. The hotel phoned us to check we were ok and talked us through key collection as we were arriving after reception closed. They also sent the info by text. Hotel was further away from Copenhagen airport than we realised but staff told us next day that if we had phoned them they would have transferred us to a closer hotel. Staff on reception were so helpful and contacted car hire company next day to explain we would be a bit later. They gave my husband detailed directions on how to get to the hire company and let us check out a bit later as we were travelling with children. Could not fault their service. Room was really nice and area around hotel very pretty.

The hotel was very clean and the receptionist was amazing but sadly we booked the hotel as we had a flight to caught the next morning and needed to get some sleep as we had been traveling from a long distance but we couldn't get any sleep as it was too hot and even when we opened the windows and the fan on we still couldn't get any sleep and we all gave up on sleep and just waited to caught our flight 7am

The room was not suitable for our wheelchair user. The listing says some areas may not be accessible, so I made sure to indicate when booking that we needed wheelchair access. Although the hotel messaged me multiple times before the stay about things like reception hours and cleaning policies, I was never told there would be any issue with accessibility. However, when we arrived, our room was down five stairs and the room itself had two steps! We returned to reception to ask if we could switch to a room with level access but were told there were none available. Staff did not offer any assistance to navigate the wheelchair on the stairs. Once we finally got to our room, with a great deal of effort and discomfort, we could not leave again until the morning as it was too much work. If we had just been told in advance that we couldn’t have a level-access room, we could have made alternate arrangements. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Great location and close to public transportation. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Hotel ideally placed for my trip. Excellent service. The only negative would be the breakfast and the staff not keeping their eye on things that they had run out of potatoe, white bread for toast, scrambled eggs, sausage. Apart from that very good and I would recommend.

We cannot say enough great things about Go Hotel Herlev! The staff was welcoming, knowledgeable and very helpful with every question we had regarding the area, sightseeing, transportation etc. The hotel was very quiet and centrally located with a grocery and coffee shop in the small shopping area just a few steps away from the hotel. They even offered us the use of a flat iron hair styler when mine stopped working until I could find a replacement. The train station was less than a 10 minute walk from the hotel which made it convenient for all of our sightseeing. We would definitely stay here again in a heartbeat!!

Wonderful old Inn, currently being renovated completely. Wonderful and helpful staff. Very conveniently located.

I would say the hotel will be nice when the building work is complete but to sell the rooms without mentioning is not good.

Great stay. Parking can be a challenge depending on the time of arrival. Close to shopping and train to the city. Staff was excellent.

Nice but under renovation. No elevator to our 3rd floor room. It was clean and comfortable!

Check in was easy with friendly and helpful staff. The area is nearby local cafe with some shopping center. Car parking was easy even though it was limited space but luckily I manage to find one. Be sure to register your car if you are parking to avoid any charges. Registering is for free. Train station is about 10-15mins walk away which will link to center of Copenhagen. Recommend to people to stay on this place.

Hotel has been taken over by a chain who are modernising the building. We were in a newly refurbed room which was lovely, clean and perfect for us. Yes it was warm but there was a fan. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. 15 mins on train to centre of Copenhagen, ideal.

The breakfast was limited, not high quality and coffee options limited.

The place is outside Copenhagen again area, it’s in Herlev about 30 minute drive depending on traffic to the city. The hotel is sorrounded by local businesses, they have restaurants, coffee shop and bakeshops, there’s a bus stop as well just few steps from the hotel, take the 350S to Copenhagen city center.

Tolles kleines Hotel in einem Vorort Kopenhagens. Zimmer sehr hübsch und geschmackvoll, Frühstück hervorragend. Parkplätze sind umsonst und ein Supermarkt direkt nebenan. Zur S-Bahn sind es allerdings fast 15min zu Fuß. Und von da aus noch einmal 25min in die Stadt. Wir kommen gerne wieder …

Sehr schöne Zimmer, gute Anbindung in die Stadt

Et fint hotel, da vi først fandt det. Sød personale og vi sov faktisk i en god seng. Vi sov med åben vindue og absolut ingen støj om natten. Vi kan kun anbefale

Ingen aircondition på værelset og 28 grader udenfor og kæmpedyner som gjorde det ulideligt varmt om natten. Stort set ingen forskel på opgradering af værelset ud over prisen. Parkering var ikke gratis alligevel fordi p-pladsen skulle renoveres (dette var ikke hotellets skyld). Vi ville derfor korte en dag af rejsens længde og fik af vide af den var ok. Da vi skulle tjekke ud fik vi en anden besked og en flabet receptionist fortalte at hun jo ikke kunne komme på arbejde, hvis hun ikke kunne parkere og at vi ikke skulle regne med at få penge tilbage for den sidste overnatning. Herefter en masse bøvl via Hotels.com - fordi man ikke kan tale med et rigtigt menneske. Det er dog lykkedes efter flere afbrydelser i chatten og mange dumme robotter, at få pengene retur. En ærgerlig måde at slutte en ellers god ferie på, hvor vi har været forbi mange dejlige og gæstfri hoteller og personale.

Rigtig fin overnatning med familien. Fin morgenmad og god service og gratis parkering. En nabo var dog lige støjende udenfor på gangen men det var en lørdag aften
