Radisson Blu Scandinavia Hotel, Copenhagen

Good property. Well maintained. Good access to public bus, not too far from central station. Just feel it is too expensive, not worth the price paid

Had an excellent stay. Would use this hotel if in Copenhagen again.

Not a 4-star hotel. Looks impressive as you enter the lobby. Receptionist was excellent but had to get past the man with the iPad who insisted check-in wasn’t until 3pm. Turns out our room was ready when I politely enquired when he wasn’t around. Anyway, you can’t be a 4-star hotel without controllable air conditioning. Apparently it’s centrally controlled, well it wasn’t very well controlled. Was 25.3c when we entered the room and the lowest it got during our two night stay was 23.7c which made it impossible to sleep well. You can only open the window very slightly and this then exposes you to traffic noise from 10 lanes of traffic! You also have to look past these 10 lanes to take advantage of your ‘lake view’ room. Two nights with very little sleep spoils a birthday trip…

Positives: Location close to a metro with great links to airport and other popular areas. I should note that most attractions would not be a feasible walk away. Nice lobby area Room was in decent condition upon arrival, did find some rubbish that had been missed under the bed. Nice view from the 5th floor. Nice TV in the room which you can cast to Negatives: Staff not very friendly or helpful Visited in June and room was very hot at night, window only opens a crack and no AC left us with very little sleep for the duration of our trip. Shower pressure was weak Not being able to sleep due to the heat really ruined our trip and that’s the basis of the star rating. If you are visiting outside of summer and don’t mind using the metro to get around instead of walk this isn’t a bad option although it is expensive for what you get

Wonderful property, very close to the main offices and fun family activities. The property has a casino, wich can be noisy at night.

Over priced. Lift room. Awful

Self check in was easy and convenient. Very spacious and modern room. Beautiful lobby with plenty of seating. Some notes: I couldn't find the ice machine. Also, refrigerator did not get any very cold. But overall, I enjoyed my stay and the location of this hotel to public transportation.

I liked so many things, among which was the fine breakfast spread. I disliked the thick "comforter" bed covers, which were the only available covers for sleeping in a very warm room where the window could not be opened. Difficult to sleep.

Service was ok

Extremely disappointed with our stay. Our room was filled with a disgusting sewer smell from backflow, and shockingly, my friend’s room had the same issue—clearly a structural problem, not just poor cleaning. No complimentary water was provided, which is unacceptable for the price. The room lacked basic shelving, making it hard to stay organized. On top of that, the hotel was noticeably understaffed, leading to long wait times and poor service. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Generally a good hotel but two things really let it down. 1) there is no air conditioning and the rooms are like a sauna making it impossible to sleep. The window only opens on a tilt but it’s too noisy to have open in the night. 2) the cleaners removed items from our room - claiming they were rubbish when left in bedside tables. Not impressed.

It was clean and accessible easily to downtown

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel for three days. The ambiance in the lobby was beautiful, food and drinks were tasty. Hospitality was amazing, staff were friendly and prompt. We had a great time in the Casino. The location for us was great, it was in walking distance to Tivoli amusement park.

We loved staying at this hotel in a room with a panoramic view. The facilities were really good and it was a nice walk to the main parts of the city. The music playing in the lobby was a bit weird, but apart from that, all good!

Excellent

The hotel is not bad, the lobby looks beautiful. You can tell it is an older building but renovated inside. The room is fine but we were given a room right next to the hotel lifts, we could hear it all evening, going up and down then started again early morning. So we requested to change room, at first I was told, the hotel was fully booked so I asked to cancel the rest of my bookings and refunded the remaining nights, then the receptionist went to speak to someone else and came back and said we found you another room. The new room was fine and furthest from the lifts. The hotel is about 20ish mins walk to the main town, walked to the back of the hotel and turn left and beautiful lake on the other side. Do try the Blue Elephant Thai restaurant, it is surprisingly good and the young black gentleman who served us was excellent, very friendly, polite with very good customer service. Overall it is not bad, but the hotel lifts need major upgrade and ask for a room not near the lifts, probably need to be at least 3 rooms away from the lift.

Very nice hotel. Good location, service and food but with FATAL FLAW! The key reason for a hotel is a good nights sleep. The room temperature was too hot and I tried all night to change the HVAC controls to no avail. In the morning informed the rooms have no control!!! Whole hotel 1 temperature? If too hot (room was 24C) remove duvet from cover or accept this room fan. Stupid.

Unbelievably slow check in -45 minutes+. Showers don’t work, but apart from that good.
