I had an excellent 3-day stay at Rungstedgaard. Beautifully located near the seafront and harbor, it’s ideal for both relaxation and work-related activities. The rooms were slightly dated but very comfortable. The grounds are stunning, and the staff exceptionally friendly.

Everything is perfect EXCEPT that check out time was 9:00 in the morning! Why go on vacation and have to get up and leave before they’ve enen stopped serving breakfast? NOT OKAY!!

Fantastic buffet breakfast, beautiful property, great staff, self serve cappuccino machines in 3 separate areas, free bike rental, beach access just across the street, just 15 minute walk or 5 minute Uber ride to train and bus. Loved this hotel!

Great location and outlook and views. Conveniently located near about of restaurant options at the harbour. Service is friendly and you always get a very warm welcome. Some of the rooms in the original building could benefit from refresh / remodel. Breakfast is great and free hot drinks and afternoon snacks is a welcome treat.

The property is amazingly beautiful surrounded by well kept interesting gardens. The breakfast is by far the best I've had in in Denmark. It had a wide variety of fresh, well thought out dishes that were prepared perfectly! The classic rooms are small... very small. We had to move furniture to fit 2 standard sized check bags to get the door closed. The shower drain was clogged, but the staff was quick to fix it.

Hotel facilities, staff and food are all excellent. Beautiful setting and lovely grounds. Room was quite basic and air con not great. I had a room with 2 single beds. Bed not comfortable. No toiletries in the room.

Really got lucky with warm clear weather in Denmark which highlighted the beautiful property we turned up in. The grounds are so beautiful we stayed an extra night. Great staff, great breakfast, great position with views to Sweden.

Beautiful grounds, fun and courteous staff. The food was amazing and all the veggies were grown on site. Across from a beautiful marina. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The waiter was a kick! I would deinitely go back.

My son and I have now stayed in 4 hotels in Denmark, all totally different, and this one was BY FAR our favourite, not only for comfort (best mattress yet), great breakfast, but also for service and games (pool, ping pong, bikes, trampoline). There is also a cool sculpture park behind the buildings! One thing to know: the walk from the train to hotel is far enough that I would NOT recommend doing this with children and definitely not in the rain. We would have stayed here longer if our travel plans allowed!
