Our stay at Breathless was wonderful! It’s a really beautiful resort with wonderful staff. We’re looking forward to coming back!

Staff was excellent!

The spa was great. Spoon had great food. Sofrito wasn't good at all. It was relaxing and quiet, not a party hotel.

There should be reservations for dinner.

They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is seamless, whether it's bringing drinks poolside, helping with reservations, or just greeting you with a smile. The resort grounds are absolutely stunning—immaculately clean, beautifully landscaped, and full of energy. Whether you’re lounging by the pool, enjoying a beachside cocktail, or dancing at one of the nightly events, there’s never a dull moment. There are plenty of activities available throughout the day, so whether you're looking to relax or stay active, there's something for everyone. I especially enjoyed the pool parties, fitness classes, and themed nights. The food overall was great, with a wide variety of options. We never had to leave the resort for a good meal or drink—everything you need is right there. However, I do want to mention one downside: the risotto at the Italian restaurant was a miss. Unfortunately, it was so poorly prepared that it actually made us feel

Relaxing, fun and enjoybalw

Super Nice staff even when facing some rude customers. Drinks were tasty, food considering it was an all-enclusive was above average. The dinners and bbq were good. Would book again.

The staff was friendly and professional. We were worried while planning our vacation in the Dominican Republic because a lot of the reviews of different resorts complained about the food. We chose Breathless because there were more good reviews than bad. The food was very good and the wine was not bad at all. Some reviews complained about the wine, we thought they were good. You can't expect $30 bottles of wine at a resort and if you want that then pay extra. The only meal we did not care for our dinner at Silk City. In retrospect, we should have eaten off the Sushi menu, instead of the regular menu, since the Sushi at the lunch buffet was excellent. The breakfast and lunch buffets had something for everyone, and we loved the fact that we were seated at a table by a hostess. There is nothing worse than having a plate full of food and then searching for the nonexistent table, like on a cruise. The resort was very clean including the beach. Every day we went on a walk down beach and most of the resorts either didn't clean up the seaweed to the point that you couldn't go from the resorts to the water without navigating through a 4 foot wide swath of nasty seaweed, or did a poor job. Breathless and Dreams Oynx had beautifully clean beaches. We'll be back.

Needs to be updated with facilities and decor. Not bad though. Xhale worth somewhat quiet area. It was good.
