VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort - All Inclusive

Great staff. Beautiful beach. Drinks were subpar Food was average.

The staff does so much to make sure the stay is great. We have gone to Gran Ventana for 16 years and love it. We had no water due to a pump issue in town and the staff was lugging buckets to help flush toilets and make it so it was barely noticeable. The staff works so hard! no water was not in their control, but they did great to accommodate the situation. Beaches are great. The food is amazing! There is enough shade or sun depending on your preference. Rooms are clean and stocked daily. A great worry free vacation!

Management horrible Needed double beds in 2 of 3 rooms. Had all single tried to add an additional room. They refused said they don't book extra rooms after 11 but check in was still open

I have to say it was one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had. From start to finish, the entire stay was a disaster. Firstly, the check-in process was an absolute nightmare. The staff seemed disorganized and uninterested in helping. We waited over 25 minutes to check in, to have 1 person actually helping ANYONE with a question including checking-in, in was mind boggling. Being that I had so much time to wait around gave me the time to notice that the fixtures and ornaments in the lobby was covered in dust or dirt, the wood railings had some type of water rot happening and anything metal was also oxidizing. We finally got to our room; it was nothing like the photos listed. The rooms were very dated, the "TV" was a computer monitor, the furniture was antiquated and extremely dull. The "ocean front view" was a backyard look towards where the employees congregated and generators. The best part was the locks not working to the door. It was clear that updating anything was not a priority here. For the $ per room a total let down. Food was another major letdown. The quality of the food was below average. Food was either tasteless or EXTREMELY salty, and it was clear that the staff was overwhelmed. The checkout was just as checking-in in but more adventurous after waiting to be seen, a staff member who forgot to take a course in customer service, argued over a mistake she made only to have her supervisor escort to the back and him personally apologizing.

Jackie was demanding of tips, very unprofessional of her to say the least.

This property is small compared to others we have been to in Punta Cana. It was exactly what we wanted though, great beach, great food and drinks, wonderful staff. If you want a lot of activities, this might not be the place for you but they do offer some. There is just a very small gift shop on the property but there is a whole mall full of little shops right outside the front gate.

The hotel was wonderful, beautiful beach/pool, and the buffet was delicious with a lot of dishes to choose from. Very friendly and helpful staff. However, because I had the premium packages I was expecting at least a queen size bed, but I got a full size and it wasn’t too confortable. Besides that, my family and I had a great experience. Will definitely come back.

The staff has very little English speaking skills . The food was ok . We didn’t have water for 3 days during the day , overnight and in the evening it was really Inconvenient. No entertainment show at night . Overall I would give 3 stars that’s about it

This was my 5th stay and I loved it! The food is great. Super clean resort. I think it’s perfect for families, couples, and friends. There isn’t much to do at night, but you can always go out to club and bars outside the resort. There are a couple bars in the complex. Definitely going back.

Dinning options are limited. Entertainment is limited. The property is very small but in good condition. The beach was nice.

We had a wonderful vacation at the VH Gran Ventana! The staff were so helpful and kind, food delicious and the beach was gorgeous.

Place is small and quiet nice for relaxing if your a señor citizen this is where you should go or you just want to be in a quiet and nice place food was mid not many options staff were amazing and the property is nice
