My children and I love El Parque. The place was like home away from home! The staff were all very kind and very helpful, always available to help or respond to our questions. We look forward to visiting El Parque, again! May the Lord bless and prosper the Landlord, his family and all the wonderful Staff at this property, in Jesus Precious Name, Amen!! Remain ever blessed! I've stayed here before and will stay again. Very close to airport (5-6 minute ride) and inexpensive. This place is immaculately clean as well. It does have the scary suicide showers, but the water was perfectly hot each time I've been here...4 or 5. Nothing very fancy, but it's certainly all I ever need for a 1 night layover while going back to US or Cuenca. The people who work here are very nice as well.

Had an overnight in Quito before flying to the Galapagos the next day- this is a perfect place to do it- it is very close to the airport (Quito city is 1.5 hrs + drive away from the airport)! The service was absolutely impeccable, with your ever need attended to. It was easy to arrange for transfers to and from the airport (I didn't want to deal with any of it because I was flying in at midnight and having to leave the next day early for another flight). They had someone waiting for me at the airport with my name, and they were right back again, on time to take me to the airport. The man who was running the hotel was so nice, and the room was perfect, so clean and comfortable. He even made sure to knock on my door to wake me up so I didn't miss my early flight the next morning. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! Close to the airport!!! Will definitely use again for any layovers or even longer :) People so helpful!

I always stay at this hotel because it is family owned and I like to support that, also it is quaint and I love the family pictures in the dining room. Staff is always friendly and awake at insane hours to get me a taxi to the airport. They do their best and the price is right.

It is only ten minutes from the Quito airport. The breakfast could use some more imagination . Through no fault of the owners, there were neighborhood dogs barking all night. Not a great value for the money but it served its purpose. No one speaks English. I would stay there again but not with my wife.

This was very adequate for a 12 hour layover at Quito airport. About 10 minutes from the airport, I think about a $10 taxi ride, $5 return ride through the front desk. Beautiful garden area to relax in. Hot showers. Decent wifi. The double rooms are fine but the triple rooms are quite nice for the price! There are a couple of small restaurants in the neighborhood that you can walk to.

We had a lot of difficulty getting the hotel to arrange airport pick-up. We called the hotel directly 2 times, but no one spoke English to help us. I got my dad who speaks fluent Spanish to call and after a short discussion he got hung up on (or disconnected?). Finally I called Hotels.com for assistance. The first customer service agent said that she can't help because they do not deal with transportation, only the hotel booking. After calling again later I finally got someone at hotel.com to help us contact the hotel to make the arrangements for the hotel pickup. The hotel advertises $10.00 return airport transportation, but clearly the process is not in place to provide this service. We ended up paying $10.00 one way and then $5.00 return to the airport in the morning. Besides that everything at the hotel was fine. Check in was prompt even through the language barrier. The room was much larger than expected, with a queen, double and single bed for the two of us. The room was clean. The suicide shower was a little scary, but I survived. It would be nice to have some bottle water provided. The hotel is central to a number of small shops, restaurants and a cafe'/bakery, and a lovely town centre across the road. It was very quiet and the breakfast was fine (typical Ecuadorian breakfast of eggs, bun, butter and jam, with fresh fruite juice and coffee) at no extra charge. I would stay here again.

The area is vey safe. The Hotel grounds are beautiful. Right across street from Tababella city park. Beautiful in itself with benches and a playground. The room was clean and comfortable. Lighting was very poor in the room. The ceiling fixture was broken. In the bathroom, the mirror wasn't over the sink. It was sort of behind the door. Also, the shampoo dispenser did not work and the body soap one was only good for one shower. Dispensers are how one gets their soap in the shower. There are many places to eat within walking distance. Finally, they took me to the airport ($10.00) on time. But I felt the cost was steep for an old car that I wasn't going to make it. There are adequate taxis in the area.

Basically good. It was close to airport for inexpensive shuttle service with my luggage and also had good suburban city bus service that connected the hotel's Tababela neighborhood to both the airport and the city of Quito where I could transfer to the Quito Bus Rapid Transit service to center of town and elsewhere. Although the hotel itself was not a farm, it bordered on them to make for a pleasant rustic-like setting. The town still had good amenities like small restaurants and coffee shops, etc. I got my exercise walking between the hostel and the suburban city bus stop for service to both Quito and the airport on the main highway. I got to see most of what I intended to such as: El Mitad Del Mundo; the Teleferico, etc. It was fun and challenging walking up the steep pathways in the old part of Quito to visit Plaza Principe, etc. The only bad side: being able to safely cross the street at the various pedestrian crossings where drivers have no consideration for the safety of either pedestrians--or of other vehicles.
