When I arrived at the Iberotel, I did not like much what I experienced. My room was smaller than I thought it would be, with no desk to do some work. To get to the room, I had to go through a hallway with a strong smell of cigarette smoking. In addition, the room and the hotel looking dated. After staying there one night, my opinion changed once I got to experience more of the hotel. The hotel is well-located, near many restaurants. The breakfast spread was very good. I had a comfortable sleep and the smell of smoke in the hallway was gone for the remaining of my stay. The staff was genuinely helpful when I needed a place to work in the middle of the night that could maintain a good internet connection (Internet was solid in the room but I needed it to be flawless). Plus, the pool and garden areas are amazing. Swimming in the pool to the side of the Nile is just cool. So, I would go back here again and recommend to my friends.

We stayed for 3 nights. The rooms are rather dated but very clean. Excellent shower pressure and hot water! However the bathroom was a bit cramped. Definitely get a river view room if you can because the street view is not much to speak of. Our balcony door would not lock but we were on a higher floor and there is an in room safe so we didn’t feel worried about our things. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is great with many options to choose from. The gardens are extremely well kept and quite beautiful. The Sultana restaurant has a limited menu but the food was fabulous so we ate dinner there twice. There are many local and international restaurants within walking distance if you want something different. The best thing about this place is the location with close proximity to Luxor Temple—only an 8 to 10 minute walk. Karnak is also within walking distance if you want a longer hike (30 to 45 minutes) along the Nile but you will get harrassed by every boat captain and carriage driver along the way since they really need the business . In midday or late afternoon consider a carriage ride— the heat becomes oppressive. Avoid doing laundry here if you can. It’s very expensive at this hotel and we got much better prices at other places. Overall we had a nice stay.

This was a last minute booking due to travel plans being changed by the conflict in the Middle east. This hotel provided a comfortable clean room for a very reasonable price. The staff were all very helpful. DO NOT USE THE CORNER SHOP OUTSIDE THE HOTEL! They were making up prices and taking advantage of tourists! The hotel garden backing onto the Nile river providing an amazing back drop, the pool area was on a floating platform. Tye restaurants were an all you can eat Buffet, Italian or a Chinese i eat in the buffet and the Chinese very nice.

Iberotel Hotel in Luxor is very beautiful on the outside with a great view of the Nile River, well kept grounds with beautiful gardens and even a big pool next to the river. There are several restaurants on the property where you can eat but I find the price to be high in comparison to restaurants outside, also their tax service is very expensive. I booked my airport taxi with Agoda for $15 CAD and tge hotel charges $25 USD. The staff is very helpful but I find that they are not good with directions. Our room had a balcony which was nice. However, the room is outdated. They need an upgrade to match the outside of the hotel. This is a bit deceiving. All in all, the it's agood place to stay and it is witin walking distance to the Corniche and the Souk and Luxor temple.

Being a frequent traveler, I was very disappointed by this Hotel. Basically it did not offer value for money. I paid over $100 per night, hoping to get a four stars quality, but unfortunately, the room does not even qualify even for three stars. The Internet was too weak that I had to rely on my 5G. The bathroom was in a bad shape, but the main problem the water pressure was too weak to take a shower. And above that the hotel doesn’t have double glass windows so the noise from the Main Street adjacent to the hotel kept us awake during the night. I think this hotel needs a good face lift before it becomes a 4 star. Mind you the reception is very nice and I was very impressed when I walked in. Also the restaurant is good and they serve very nice breakfast. But the noise in the room plus no Internet and the weak water pressure was a big turn off
