We had a great two night stay at the Apex City of London. Staff were excellent, as was hotel and location. The breakfast service in the restaurant was great, too - good value considering the quality and convenience.

Quick walk to tubes and 15min walk from London Bridge. 75min brisk walk from emirates stadium so was ideal as we’d have waited that long for the tube. Lovely staff. Very clean, modern and massive bed.

The hotel is very nice, and it is located in great part of town near the Tower of London. We booked a junior suite. The room was very roomy and comfortable. We had a significant issue with water pressure which resulted in the toilet not flushing and poor water flow in the shower. After two visits from maintenance and one more complete, we asked to change rooms. Unfortunately, there were no rooms available. So, for the inconvenience, we were refunded the upgrade to the suite. And, we were able to change rooms the next day. So, thank you Hotel Apex, for doing your best to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast buffet was very nice although the service was slow. Finally, there are no bellhops so be prepared to drag your own luggage.

Location is fantastic. Circle and District line within a 3 minute walk. Tower of London within a 5 minute walk, Tower Bridge within 10 minutes. Leaden Hall Market within a 15 minutes walk as well as Borough Market.
Staff was very kind and friendly. We booked through the hotel because it said it has AC. We typically stay in an Airbnb this time of year in London but always struggle with the heat. So we tried the hotel because it says it has AC. It was on but did absolutely nothing. We had a corner family unit with two massive windows that made the room hot

I had an amazing stay, the hotel was extremely clean, the amenities were great and the staff were all friendly, warm and so kind! The only issue I had was the best a bit being hard and the pillow needs a bit more fluff- but this is a personal preference so someone might think differently. I’d highly recommend this place especially since it’s close to Liverpool street but a quiet refuge in the middle of the hustle and bustle of London

Spotlessly clean, extra touches re toiletries much appreciated, comfortable bed, would have liked pillows of different firmness, and a coffee maker would have made the room ideal, but overall very happy with our spacious & quiet room. Good to have separate bath and shower, and quality linen in bed. Enjoyed cocktails in the bar. Food OK in the evening, service attentive, but not destination dining. Would book again
