Churchill Guest House is charming. The room was comfortable and I loved the decor, including a beautiful fold out writing desk. Lovely garden view from the window, cosy radiator heating and lots of little touches like cocoa and biscuits and a bath robe. There is a variety of things to have for a self-catering breakfast. The lounge is very comfortable with lots of interesting books on the local area, and I spent an evening there learning about the local history happily ensconced in an over-stuffed chair. The house is decorated in a way that is congruent with the age of the house contributing to an atmosphere of the past, but with all the modern comforts. A wonderful old doll's house and cat and mouse coin bank amongst many other treasures to enjoy looking at. Affordable and comfortable, a short walk from the castle and shops.

Churchill house is an absolute gem. This B&B is absolutely beautiful. The decor is in keeping with its the building’s era. Every touch possible was included. Our room was comfortable, clean and wonderfully appointed. The host is extremely responsive. The share kitchen is well stocked and the continental breakfast is varied and generous. We loved our stay and would highly recommend to anyone lookout for a lovely retreat. Thank you Alex. We will be back.

The room is clean and tidy. The bed is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was self served in the kitchen. The owner was generous enough to stock up with milk, yogurt, cereals, bread, fruits etc. I got everything I needed for my stay.

Clear instructions for self check in meant that I could arrive when I wanted without causing inconvenience to the host. Alex came to see me when I had settled in and showed me where everything was. Excellent choice for a self serve continental style breakfast with a fully stocked kitchen and fridge. Really made the end of my trip to UK very relaxing before the long journey ahead through France. Honestly the host Alex looked after my every need. It wasn't like a typical bed and breakfast you find at the seaside. You are on a self catering basis where you can either share his extensive supplies as well as purchasing your own. The fully fitted modern kitchen and dining room are at your disposal anytime day or night plus a comfortable lounge to relax in at your leisure with books and the use of your own private sun patio outside the bedroom. The rooms are serviced daily but I chose the option of saying no to this as it was only me staying for a few days. The totally refurbished Georgian house is beautifully situated close to all local shops, restaurants and visitor attractions also being close at the foot of the magnificent Dover castle. A thoroughly enjoyable short stay, I recommend Churchill guest house to anyone. Well done to Alex and his family thank you for making my stay special. Regards Martin Gildea.

Alex was there to greet us and help us with our bags up the stairs. There was breakfast essentials for us to use in the shared kitchen. He also took the time to tell us about the area and directions on where to go. Would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Dover!

Lovely family run hotel near the seaside and town center. We stayed in the Sarah apartments which were a self contained unit with complete kitchen. This was important to us as our daughter can not eat anything containing gluten. The bedding was natural, feathered and thick. The rooms had fresh air and were warm. The owners were excellent hosts. The location was close to pubs, restaurants, shops and bars.

Stayed for 3 nights and would definitely stay again. Lovely house, clean comfortable accommodation, with thoughtful touches like bottles of water & toiletries in the room and milk in the kitchen! This was the perfect start to our vacation. Alex was welcoming, and sent us several messages before checking in. We arrived super early and was allowed to get into our room. The room was great. Clean, nice bed, everything was amazing. We will be coming back again.

Delightful, spacious room with 4 poster bed, antique writing desk and comfortable settee. Breakfast you made yourself in a fully stocked kitchen. A guest house that you are truly pleased to have visited even if only for one night

Property owner is extremely helpful and takes great care to make sure you are comfortable, informed, and will arrange taxi service for you, too. Room and facility is well maintained, quiet, and was within walking distance for us to the white cliffs, Dover Castle, eateries, etc. Would definitely stay here again.
