Great stay, amenities were clean and tidy. Room was clean, early check-in was arranged when we arrived. Breakfast was plentyful and well cooked. Carpark was reasonably priced.

It was a comfortable stay, room was clean , but bathroom was in need of modernising. Would stay again. Food good, but night menu a bit sparse.

Really nice hotel, lovely lobby and bar area. Great snack selection with drinks but a bit pricey. Nice rooms plenty of space. Food was ok and good location, overall a really nice hotel. Would come back again

Large, spacious hotel, staff were friendly. Room wasn’t the quietest, could hear neighbouring rooms’ toilets flushing, hairdryers being used and doors banging. Did put a request on our booking that was ignored and were charged a ‘service charge’ without my permission on a food order I made at the bar on some light bites, so basically paid nearly £5 for someone to bring it from the kitchen!

Beverlely the receptionist was excellent and kind . She is an asset to the business and other staff members should use the same friendly and polite approach.

Easy parking with very helpful staff

Lovely clean room. Pool and changing rooms could do with some improvements. No robes or slippers provided and the lockers in the ladies changing room were not functional.

Our stay was fine, and it was great to stay in a hotel with a pool. The location was good and easy to find. The staff were pleasant but perhaps not as knowledgeable or skilled as they should be- eg didn’t know what was on the children’s menu )they didn’t have any printed) and then brought her a different dinner, having to repeat our orders as they had forgotten. Male staff in the gym could have been more polite. On both days there were no towels available and it seemed to put them out that they had to find us some. Plenty of parking but this is charged at £10 a night, which for a private car park for the hotel seems a lot to charge guests. Our room was fine, but the adjoining family room didn’t have any drawers or wardrobes (spare bedding in drawers) and no light but a lamp in the corner. The air con controls were set in both rooms and couldn’t be changed, but were very noisy when they fired up- enough to wake you. pool good, although decor could do with updating as is tired,not many keys available for the lockers. Sauna and steam was good. Jacuzzi was just an adjoining circle to the pool with bubbles, rather than a hot tub. Food was decent;dinner menu better than quality and range available for breakfast. Eggs other than scrambled had to be ordered when a waiter/chef was available. No mushrooms,sausages and bacon were ok but not particularly tasty. No pancakes or fresh bread other than presliced for toast. Coffee from a machine was fine. Ok but not a great Hilton

No body lotion in bathroom

Long wait for check in and then seemed to take ages to check in. We had booked 2 rooms, when we got to one of the rooms it was dirty, empty wine bottle and food wrappers, towels on the floor, not a great start at the end of the day. The service in the bar was extremely slow, there was one barman that had only been there 1 week that had been left on his own to do the bar and take all the food orders. Breakfast was also the same not enough staff, poor service, we wait had to wait ages for all the food to be replenished. And they overcharged me and didn’t apologise when they realised their mistake. Very disappointed ☹️

Had a fantastic stay at the hotel, really enjoyed it and the location. One thing I would say is they need to keep an eye out for when people want a drink at the bar, often stood endlessly waiting for staff to appear.

Everything was really good, we were disappointed our bottled water was not replenished for our second day and that the set costume cried was not available in the ladies changing room. Otherwise it was a great stay. We will come back.

Staff were amazing. This hotel was clean & tidy. Food was delicious. Breakfast arrangements were made early for us as had a competition to attend.
