Falcons Nest

The room was clean & spacious & location, on the site of the raptor foundation, is just genius! We’ll be staying again!

Clean, comfortable well presented room. No food facilities on site but a microwave, kettle and toaster was provided. All crockery and cutlery was available together with a decently sized kitchen sink. The en-suite was adequate with an electric shower, toilet and sink. We will stay at the Falcons Nest next time we are in the area.

Friendly staff, comfortable accommodation, spacious, clean, warm and reasonably priced. To see the birds and flying display is a real bonus too.

Our third stay here and it’s so handy for visiting family in the area. Free parking plus you can look at all the birds and the animals there if you’re staying there too. Useful having a fridge, microwave and toaster and a sink in the mini kitchen. Comfy bed and plenty of hot water. We will definitely be returning next time we’re in the area as a very good value stay here.

Absolutely lovely place for couples. So peaceful and quiet and lovely to wander around the foundation whenever you want. Lovely gift shop and tea rooms. Everywhere was clean and comfortable.

I was working away from home for a week and this was an ideal base. Clean and tidy with good WiFi.

No breakfast offered internet hit and miss

Very comfortable, spacious room with en-suite shower and toilet. Basic microwave, sink and cutlery and crockery provided. Chopping board and corkscrew also provided. Although there is a cafe on site, they will absolutely not serve you any food before 10:30am, so make sure you bring breakfast supplies! Entry to see the birds and reptile was good but it would be nice to have a bit more information on the raptor foundation and any events supplied in the rooms.

I love the raptor sanctuary

Great overnight accommodation nestled in between a falconry. Very peaceful, also some very cute meerkats and a giant tortoise on site. Accommodation has a kitchenette and bathroom with walk in shower. Very reasonably priced too.

This was a one night stopover on a budget. Unfortunately I wasn't able to visit the raptors but from what I could see I missed out. Check in was later than expected but I received a text with the details on how to get my room key from the safe box. Room was comfortable and clean and the kitchenette was well equipped. A bowl for cereal would have been useful. The room was a short walk to the car park, and some additional lighting, especially over the room door would be useful.

Falcon's Nest is half a dozen rooms owned by the Raptor Foundation which is a centre for Birds of Prey. Each room is a bedroom with a kitchen and a shower room. The kitchen has a sink, fridge, microwave oven and toaster. There is a TV and free WiFi with internet access.
