I was in one of the newly refurbished rooms on the 5th floor and it was very nice. The carpet in the bedroom was wet however by the bathroom door. Also the noise from the street below was very loud. Lovely toiletries, very comfy bed and good tv. Shame they don't do food but a quick walk to the shops.

Perfect location, everything in walking distance from the hotel.
Clean and big room, but the room temperature was to hot (air-con broken) needed to have a fan in the room for all my stay. Tiered hotel needs to be refurbished.

Location was excellent as we were seeing a show at the Theatre Royal barely two hundred yards away. Room was excellent, very clean and tidy. Reception staff very efficient and extremely helpful.

Just stayed the 1 night for a visit to Rockcity. Good points are helpful staff and great location. The room was large but badly in need of a revamp. One window was broken and unable to open or latch shut. Bathroom door was fraying. Air con sounded like a jet engine and did nothing. Apparently the building is getting done up soon.

Only an overnight stay but well located, comfortable with good facilities.
The breakfast was also good and I found the "linear buffet" arrangement a very good alternative to the breakfast shuffle ballet that you get in many other places.

For the cost the hotel was not up to other similar hotels stayed at so we were disappointed. There was an frightening incident with someone staying which was reported to reception at 5.00am but no feedback to was received to reassure me. I phoned the police.

Was a little noisy in night - shouting in street both nights and bottles being emptied in to bins in early morning assume at business opposite. Better sound insulation for windows would help. The room and hotel including staff were very good. Would stay again. Great central location.
