The staff was excellent. They brought my bags to my room and escorted me there when my room was ready. There is no elevator and my room was on the top floor. The hotel is definitely quirky. The lobby had a beautiful real christmas tree and there were a few different sitting rooms throughout the ground level all decorated. I had a single room and the bed was super comfortable. I had plenty of room. There was a robe and a mini bar. The toilet was an actual wood throne. The location was excellent, a few blocks from the Elizabeth line. This was a wonderful stay in London due to the staff who were so attentive and kind. I cannot say enough great things about them!!!!! Unfortunately, there was construction going on in the room next to ours all day for the three days we were there. Thankfully, we were out of our room most of the day and only heard it in the morning but it did cause flies to come into our room since there is space under the doors of the room and the construction must’ve been done with open windows. Had this not been the case, we really would’ve had a perfect stay so I would recommend this hotel. It’s also important to note that this is an old building with very uneven flooring on the stairs/in the room and no elevator. We appreciated the staff carrying our bags to our room but it was a little tricky getting up to our room especially after a couple of drinks lol.

First visit to Hazlitt's. Upgraded to junior suite as celebrating my wife's birthday. Lovely hotel. So quiet for a central London property. Superb breakfast delevered to our room. All staff we met were courteous and helpful.
