Highfield Park is a character hotel set in a huge plot with views for miles of the countryside. It is a peaceful location, yet within easy commute by car to Fleet or Reading. We had a signature room in the main hotel building which was comfortable and with a large bed and shower. We enjoyed the rich bolognaise and salad with garlic bread. The breakfast was also very good with full continental and cooked options.The staff are helpful and pleasant. We had a nice walk around the grounds near the hotel. Plenty of free parking, Certainly recommended and good value.

Room was basic and not really suitable with steps leading to shower room for 70/80 year olds plus a sloping ceiling
All guaranted to cause issues in the dark.
We attended a family wedding and it was fairly late when we accessed the room. Disappointing

Its a lovely period property in stunning grounds . The staff were polite and helpful . The breakfast were great . I had cereal fresh fruit toast and pastry one morning and full english the next both really enjoyable
