Mount Lavinia

We had a very nice stay in this hotel. Check in was via key code, we got the instructions the day before. Our room was very nice, very clean, tv, tea and coffee, a very large bathroom. Breakfast came within the price, you had so much to choose from, with tables laid out for you to eat in the kitchen. The location was great to get into town. I would definitely stay here again if I visited Shetingham again.

The room and the host were extremely kind. They returned a very valuable item to me that I had left in the hotel room and I was so grateful for what they did completely trustworthy good people can’t speak highly enough Mr J Sanders.

Room was clean; as forewarned parking was tight but worked. Breakfast selection was varied and of good standard. Would be happy to book again if in the area

Nice large room, good shower. Basic continental breakfast, Off road parking for 5 cars ( 5 rooms)

Good location on the edge of town, convenient for the buses along the North Norfolk coast. Short walk into the town. Ample car parking on the street or in the yard. Room was not overlarge but was clean and had everything needed and the decor was good. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Continental type breakfast ample and varied. Altogether, a very positive experience and we would be happy to book again when we come to Sheringham.

The breakfast was okay. Parking was a bit tight but worked out okay. Everywhere looked clean. A proper shelf in the bathroom would have been useful together with something to hold onto in the shower. Very well situated for attractions i.e. railway, local shops and beach.

A little tricky to find initially as it is a narrow access to the parking area, but good directions being close to the shop. Friendly staff, clean venue and convenient location for my short stay. Decent breakfast selection.

Short walk to get the sea. My room to the backyard was nicely quiet.

Close to bus stop, parking free, 10minute walk into town. Continental breakfast. Tea and coffee in the room. Nice bathroom. Was probably the hottest day of the year so far but fan provided in room so was bearable.

Lovely vwelcome from lady in the shop. Clean and comfortable room, ample supplies of tea/coffee etc. Nice to have free off road parking

The location of the property was very good. A short approx 15 mins walk into the town and the seafront. Also an ideal location for visiting lovely places around Sheringham. Free private parking was good. Well organised check-in. Staff Kate was very nice, friendly and helpful if needed. It looks like our smallest room Holt and much bigger Colombo next to ours room have been renowned compared some pictures on website. Comfy beds. Bathroom and toilet clean, even though the shower might need a little bit more care. WiFi no problem. Simple continental breakfast with self-service was ok. However, if you prefer having coocked or English Breakfast, the restaurant next-door offers it. In general, we enjoyed our stay In Sheringham very much.

It was a good base, near bus and train station, relaxing, spacious room.

Excellent stay. Breakfast was lovely. Kate who runs the kitchen does a fabulous job.

3 night stay, easy check in/out, friendly staff, buffet breakfast had a good selection of pastry based food, and cereals, toast etc. We stayed in the 'Cromer' room which has a memory foam bed, my wife did not like it. Good shower (in bath) One slight downside was that the radiator could not be turned down or off. As this room faces the road it meant needing to keep the dg window shut to keep traffic noise out (this said, road not particularly busy late at night).

Booked on same day as arrival day...so booking process was fast and efficient. On arrival, following a text message about getting the keys from the shop, the manager saw my face regards instructions and said she'd come and show us, which she kindly did. Room was huge, clean, presented well and in keeping with trying to keep the room as modern as possible. Pity the wooden wardrobe had to be in there. King sized bed was comfy and bedding was clean and kept us warm. Room and bathroom temperature were good. Shower was functional. Kettle/tea/coffee etc. are always welcome. Continental breakfast had a lot of choice and was plentiful. Manager was very friendly and welcoming. Price was great.

Great stay, my only complaint would be I ordered a room with the bath, lavina knew there had been a mix up somewhere along the line but did not apologise for me not having the room with the bath, even when I messaged to say I was disappointed, I specifically stayed there for the bath other than that staff very friendly, bed comfortable and room was clean

Lovely warm and big room plentiful hot water tea,coffee and shower gel all available in the room Car parking area was very tight Would definitely recommend and use it again

The accommodation was spotless, well furnished, plenty of hot water, staff courteous and professional, would be more than happy to recommend to anyone, will definitely stay again. Excellent
