Norcroft Guest House Vegetarian B&B

Approx 5 min walk to the town centre and 10 min to the rail station. The room was really nice, very clean and breakfast was served to my room. The 2 people running the guesthouse were very lovely. I hope to come back here again.

Room was lovely and clean and hosts very friendly and welcoming. Your breakfast is brought to your room, which is a lovely touch. I stayed in a single room right at the top of the house. If I had one little thing to say, it would be the lack of a mirror in the bedroom to get ready and do my hair, but other than that, no complaints. There was private parking at the back of the hotel which is a bonus as Penrith can be difficult for that.

I had a fantastic stay at Norcroft Guest House. The staff were friendly, the service was great, and breakfast in bed was a lovely treat and the bed was huge. Highly recommend!

I stayed with my family for a night in this guest house and it was very nice experience. We received a very warm welcome. The room was so clean and well maintained. The breakfast was so good. I would definitely recommend. Overall very nice experience.

Really nice and helpful would definitely stay again

Was staying over after hiking Helvellyn a 2”30 minute drive away from Penrith. Warm welcome from the hosts Mark & Paula who even gave me a home baked cookie on arrival which was a nice touch. I stayed in a basic single room which was perfect. Pre-ordered breakfast for a set time which was delivered to my room on time and was delicious. Will definitely stay here again when I return to the Lake District.

Lovely little hotel, host's really friendly and helpful, lovely breakfast brought to room at time you ask, room clean and comfortable, could do with mirror in room for when you use hairdryer, will definitely be back.

Only slight criticism is id like bacon and proper sausages for breakfast, however location was good. Free parking. We got some fresh cookies on arrival which were amazing. Id definitely stay here again if im ever in penrith. Mark was an amazing host.

Lovely homely B&B near to main shopping street. Easy walk from train station also. Breakfast good value and well-cooked.

I liked the breakfast-in-bed option. The food was perfect and the service was spot on.

A traditional bed & breakfast. Great communication from the hosts in advance, and they were very helpful on arrival sorting out parking and fresh water to take up. The room was comfortable and clean. I didn't have time for breakfast, but it would have been served at the room (you pre-order the night before). The hosts were very friendly and I would stay there again.

Great attention to detail and a lovely bit of cake on arrival. Room was very clean and spacious for a single. The breakfast is even brought to your room in the morning at the specified time of your choice which was awesome. Food was excellent and hot. Overall fantastic value for money. And half the price of the local premier inn. Cant recommended this bed and breakfast enough. John Room 6

This was a stopover night - what a gem of a place. The owners have only been in residence for 6 months and are very welcoming. Would definitely recommend and when travelling up to Scotland, this will be our go-to stop over.

We stay here on our way to Scotland with the kids. Very friendly, lovely room and we all had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was delicious too.
