Lovely airy large room (10), with a private balcony. Fabulous views over the city. Staff great, hotel very clean and is an attractive old building very well maintained. 15 minute walk from the main city area, uphill on way back but not steep. Opted for room only lovely local cafe short walk up the hill, plus nice pub and shops. Very good value for the money. Car park a bit tight but didn't use it or need it for our 3 night stay. Would definitely return. Evening visit to the Roman Baths a new highlight.

Parking is tight but Casey at the front desk doubles as an excellent parking assistant! The walk to Bath is short but uphill all the way back, and the B&B does not have a lift, so be aware if you have mobility issues.

Everything was nice. I was traveling solo and got a single room at the top. Bed was under the angled roof so I didn't want to sit up fast. Fortunately no bad dreams or hauntings to startle me awake. Just stayed one night.

Overall a good stay - good location for access to the centre. The rooms are tired looking and some areas like net curtains and carpets need replacing or cleaning. The hotel makes it clear that they charge £10 a night for parking however in my opinion guests should not be charged. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were all very good and helpful.
