What a wonderful place to stay in Frome. Built in 1604, it is a fantastic house. The rooms are lovely & Claire is a fantastic host - wonderful breakfast on bot h days for us. We would highly recommend Rook Lane House.

Claire was by far the most incredible host I've ever had the pleasure of staying with. She was so kind and helpful and made the entire experience so enjoyable. I couldn't recommend Rook Lane House enough if you plan on coming through Frome. It's a 13 minute walk from the Frome train station, and a 5 minute walk to the "downtown" area. The homemade breakfast was also fantastic. I will definitely be staying here again if I come back!

Great experience from start to finish. Claire was helpful and friendly and cooked an amazing breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble, and we had a great nights sleep. Parking was secure, and the House is within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and bars serving great food. We will stay again when next in Frome, highly recommended.

This is in a very old house, but they have renovated to a very high standard. The rooms and facilities are comfortable, the host is fantastic, and the breakfast was great. Warm and welcoming, this was a great break from work. The town of Frome had the festival on and all the little shops and old lanes had put on such a great time for us even with the rain.

The host was very friendly, happy to help us out. Breakfast was super tasty. And our room was beautiful. Really clean and well equipped. Lovely stop over on our route to Cornwall.

Lovely old historic house complete with priest hole in the dining room. Claire was very welcoming and the room was lovely. Everything spotless.

It is a beautiful house,dating in part from the 17th century. It is totally unique in having a Priest Hole behind a glass door in the dining room. Claire was very welcoming and very helpful and friendly. Parking is excellent. Our room had everything that we could expect. The breakfast was also excellent. A superb B&B - highly recommended.
