The staff were excellent and very friendly, helpful. The room was clean and spacious.

Perfect view of the ocean. A good budget hotel

Although the hotel was overall good, especially for the price and location with the sea view, and the staff were very friendly, it is overall a bit dated, but that is ok. However, the biggest problem is the noise; every time someone walked past, things creaked, the doors could be heard opening and closing throughout the night, and the water was quite unbelievably noisy. Anyone having a shower, I could hear the water rushing through the pipes....so not really a good night's sleep both nights I was there.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Room was clean and a good size. Bed wasn’t very comfortable. To create the double they had put together two singles but top and bottom rather than side by side… Unfortunately the chef was sick so I had to eat elsewhere. For the cost I would stay again

Thin walls so noise from adjacent rooms. Breakfast crockery was dirty and damaged. Terrible sausages and coffee. The frontage was neglected and overgrown. Staff were friendly and the room rate was reasonable.

Only stayed one night. Everything was okay until two drunk guys next room banged their door at and started to watch at 2 am with lots of loud commentary. The wall was quite thin. The

Very good and excellent value, a 1 mile walk to town is very pleasant, the local community of Bare is close by with shops & pubs.

Food was very good, reasonably priced and generous servings. The hotel is in need of decoration and repairs. We stayed one night and it was OK for our needs. Seemed very short staffed and room not ready on arrival.

We were not happy with the first room, too noisy pigeons, banging from next door, renovating next door business. Bedroom and bathroom b Very dated, poorly stocked. The staff at the hotel go above and beyond! They changed our room for the following night and we slept much better and room much more comfortable. The manager (Nicki) is exceptional, she was doing everything! Front desk, housekeeping, bar. Breakfast was not well stocked. No bacon, egg, hash browns left. Plates were wet, condiments limited. It felt a little all over the place.

Great break away. Lovely room, in a nice quiet area of Morecambe right on the sea front. Excellent food. Breakfast could have been better as sausages and hash browns were poor quality.

It was a pleasing stay with what I needed in the room even if only an (older) shower rather than a bath. It’d be a shame if it were destroyed for a taller apart hotel block seen on a notice opposite the current hotel. Although I didn’t opt for breakfast - needed to save money - the bacon smelt amazing in the morning!

This was undoubtedly the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We requested to change rooms, as the first one smelled horrible & running water in the bathroom led to a very loud grinding noise. This was agreed to, but with no apology & with an attitude that demonstrated a lack of care. The 2nd room was equally terrible. Overall worn out & grubby The sink & toilet were cracked The shower was so small I barely had enough room to turn round (I'm a size 12 woman) There was a grime build-up around the shower The floor covering on the step leading to the shower was split & taped up No shower mat provided The ceiling light flickered on & off No blind or curtains on one window Mattress was old & I could feel the springs Carpet stained & worn So basic, not even a hairdryer Room was tiny & stiflingly hot Very small TV, no access to any streaming channels Lift to room is antiquated and tiny No food being served Charge for this basic & inadequate room, in a worn out, shabby hotel was a £91. This was an audacious sum for the standard of accommodation, which was not fit for purpose. The photographs featured on this website (& others) are an inaccurate representation & bear no reflection of the reality. I complained, but was offered no way to escalate this complaint or any form of refund. Just a statement that the receptionist would pass my comments along. I would strongly recommend that people DO NOT stay at this hotel, unless you enjoy being ripped off. Extremely poor all round.

The hotel was alright. Not the best but OK for the money. I'd say it was an OK stay.

Easy to find . Very Friendly staff. efficient check in/out. The carpet was quite worn and had coffee stains. But everything else was very clean. Front facing room and the views were amazing.
