Very good place to stop on a budget. A couple of minor niggles with internet, signal was poor as basement room, and wired network cable/socket broken (as a network engineer I was able to rectify this myself) customer service desk answered quickly to queries that I had. Large room with a desk and full size bathtub which was a welcome luxury after a busy week. Great location at the top of Reigate Hill.

I would like a refund please . The room smelt of damp and mould - you can see mould on several areas of walls and skirting bored . The constant noise was relentless all night , doors banging very loud . We only managed to get 1 hours sleep all night ! Also full of cobwebs in all corners of room. Please refund

We weren't expecting much from previous reviews but were pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and comfortable although dated and in need of some TLC it was perfect for a few hours sleep before our early gatwick flight

When we arrived there was no one at the desk had to wait 15mins for the receptionist to come to the desk. Once got to our room put bags in. We headed to the bar but there was no beer on taps and very limited beer they had in the fridge. The guy who served us didnt understand any English so was very difficult to understand each other. The building could do with a lot of work to do it.

Below budget hotel, single room which could have had a good hoover and the shower cleaned. The water pressure in the shower was so low that it was more of a sprinkle than a shower, not what you look forward to after a long day. The décor and maintenance is if an 80's style with a lamrenth of corridors to find your room.

I required a hotel near to Cheam & this was located well The reviews didn't seem very good but I had a single room which was clean, comfortable & had everything I needed The bathroom was clean & the shower was very good. The staff were really helpful & when I requested an iron to go with the board, it was supplied. I would re-book for any further short stays for convenience & price.

Awful the environment and conditions were terrible, we left after being there for 15 minutes. Concerns about the safety due to work going on above our room. Workmen had no safety gear on, they were playfighting on the roof, chucking debris off the side. As the left they were right in front of our window and disrespectful of our privacy. Also noisey

I did not stay here because OVO wanted a lot of extra personal information after I had paid that other hotels I have booked don’t need. It felt like a scam. Especially when I could not get any refund. I stayed at travelles instead which was fine.

It provided somewhere to stay for the night whilst working. Not somewhere I would choose for anything else. Thought I would let the staff know that the roof was leaking and they currently didn't have a bucket underneath to stop the carpet getting wet. Was told the roof was going to be fixed that day - on a Sunday! needless to say when I returned in the evening it hadn't changed. The food was ok if you needed something to eat, but I would guess most people would go elsewhere as it is a buffett style. The property is dated and could do with modernising and definitely fixing the numerous leaks and buckets of water.

Appalling doesn’t begin to describe this place. I used to stay there years ago and it was very nice so I booked for one of my staff to stay last night. I knew things had changed when we got an email demanding photos of driving license and credit card and issuing an automatic pin to get into the room. The room was dirty, mould on the ceiling and dried up vomit on the floor. The place is also clearly being used for asylum seekers and the neighbour in room had a number of young men in it making quite a racket. My colleague left the hotel at 11 pm and moved to another one.

When we got given our room number, when we entered we found that there were still guests staying in this room. When we had our room changed, our room smelled of a strong smell of cigarettes and the lock on the balcony door did not have a stable lock at all which made it feel really unsafe and easy to gain entry to. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel was not as bad as other reviews in my view. The lady on reception was very friendly and efficient when we checked in. Booked a triple room which was very spacious. We did have a problem with the bath hot tap constantly running as was the toilet. Mentioned to reception but not sorted whilst we were there (2nights). Hotel was tired looking inside but it was comfortable

The Tap water and shower was either extremely hot or cold, nothing like warm water. Couldn’t use it to shower properly. The room was having a smoking smell and they could not use air freshener after the last person had left the room with smoke smells. Considering the fact that they know we were coming with a baby less than a year. Two of the towel has stained as if it was not washed. The sliding door glass to the balcony was chained with little chain and no proper lock. Also, the mattresses in the rooms were bad. It’s spring mattresses and aches body when you lie down on it. Not good for leisure stay except you’re just going for a night stay to just catch up of pick up someone from the Gatwick Airport. Thank God it was only one night we booked for.
