The Coach Hotel

Apart from the price there was nothing to like about this property. On three of the six nights I booked there was extremely loud music playing until midnight making it impossible to sleep. carpets were grubby, and the atmosphere smoky due to the close proximity of the outdoor smoking area. Not recommended if you value a good night's sleep

Excellent location and new rooms added. Fully refurbed and very well set up. The owners were incredibly nice and helpful and the town itself is very relaxing and nuce

The room was immaculate, bigger than assumed, comfortable bed, locals were lovely, great staff, there are renavatuons going on at the moment so no food but have no doubt if there had of been it would have been great, but there were plenlty of places to eat within a short walking distance. Lovely local area. Cant fault it and will definitely stay again!!

Would’ve been an excellent stay all round but when I got there I was informed that there was a disco on until midnight so may hear some noise. Thought ok shouldn’t be too loud. However the bed was literally vibrating from the base of the music and extremely loud.

Perfect for a quick stay before visiting the NEC, pay for what you get & I’d stay again!

Nice clean room, in quiet location. Good bed, and en-suite bathroom. Good value for the money, but no-frills. I would stay again.

There is absolutely nothing to say good about this place. The carpets are dirty, there was loud music until 12-oo at night then noisy people outside. There is no food available. The window frames and sills are wooden and rotted through. If I had got back to the room earlier on Saturday after going for food with friends elsewhere I would have packed my case and driven home and it was only the time scale preventing that happening. I will be telling anyone that uses the NEC to avoid this place at all costs. It is disgusting. I have photos of the rotted windows and the 2 inch hole in the sill. Ratings out of 10 would be minus 10

Due to our health conditions we asked if our bag could be carried upstairs for us and it wasnt a problem. We stayed in room 7. The room was a good size and the bed was huge as was the tv which also had Netflix. The bedding was bright white and clean, no stains at all. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There was the usual tea and coffee etc and if we needed a top up we just asked and was given plenty. There are 4 indian restruants within a couple of hundred meters. How could our stay have been improved. We couldn't turn the radiator off so the room was very hot. Radiator thermostats on the radiators would save the place a fortune and add to our comfort. We did manage to open 1 of the windows which helped. We couldnt get the shower to give a consistent heat so although there would be an initial expense individual electric wall showers would solve this problem. As others have said the shower could do with a deep clean as could the window frames. There was a disco on saturday night and we could hear the music

Lovely clean room, amazing hospitality, the pub is brilliant every person is welcomed and to top it all off there all blue noses K.R.O

Didn't use pub but rooms out back looked new-ish. TV was great size & Netflix enabled 👍 Quiet and plenty of parking space.

this is not a hotel, its a very rowdy pub that blasted music until midnight so loudly that my bed was shaking. avoid!

Super experience , it's a bar hotel but if you take time to immerse your self with locals you won't be disappointed. No food other than Baguettes at lunch time but there is everything you can wish for within a 10 min walk

All ok really- pub(aka 'hotel') bit noisy on both fri and sat evenings but not horrendous. Keycard door lock iffy- staff changed cards several times but def the DOOR LOCK- so locked out more than once. Great little town GREAT PEOPLE- excellent take-aways nearby ( no 'hotel' food)Good bathrooms- plenty coffee/tea etc. Very Good for the price- Would def use again for NEC etc.Happy thank you..

Room was excellent, bed very comfortable nice place Note to the owners, kettle tea and coffee in room but no cups or spoons? No bed side lamps and shower gel was empty Shame because the room was excellent In addition tv wasn’t tuned in Rectify these small things because the room and bed were superb
