An old fashioned hotel in the best possible sense - all the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The food in the restaurant was excellent and very good value.

Great service at checkin and in the restaurant.
Lovely room - lovely large four poster bed. Unique experience. We only stayed for the night so I can’t sisal to location but we felt safe and easy parking during our trip - thank you

Once you get past the glitz of the reception this is a great hotel. Worth spending a little extra to get a bigger room with a better view. Staff were lovely. Food was awful!!

Paid for an executive room but I am afraid it was not acceptable.
The hotel has sealed the windows in the room and the only ventilation is from the a/c.
Upon entering the room we were overwhelmed with the intense heat that has built up.
We switched on the air con and set it to the fast speed and coldest temp. 2 hrs later and the room was still very hot. We tried another room and it was the same situation. Even worse in fact because the 2 hrs we spent in the first room was watered. We had to start over again.
I had to ask reception for a fan and they did give us a fan that helped.

Quick friendly check in, quirky 20’s Art Deco reception, bar and rooms. Bed very comfy and shower nice and big.
Local restaurants a short walk away, I didn’t eat or use the bar at the hotel
Only downside room quite noisy due to traffic, and due to early meeting I couldn’t have breakfast

This hotel has stunning Art Deco decor,very competent & friendly staff,rooms very comfortable if a little too warm & no window to open for a bit of fresh air but everything spotless,we would definitely stay here again & recommend it
