Seeing some of the bad reviews, I nearly cancelled my booking. That would have been a mistake! While there are some rough edges, I'm so glad I stayed here! The location is PERFECT, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room had all the basics.
True - there is no lift and the stairs are narrow... but I think that's fairly standard for London! There are some things that could use an update - but I found things clean and comfortable.
I'm glad I stayed here - and I would definitely go back!

While the online reviews and photos are high, our room was clearly one that was not remodeled. It was decent yet had a poor old bathroom floor that was peeling and dirty and grossed me out. Additionally the pillow cases we had all had stains on them. The location is good and reception desk was helpful but was lower quality than what I expected.

I'm glad I found this little gem of a hotel. My room was basic but comfortable and really quiet despite being right in Covent Garden. I'll definitely stay here again.

Fantastic location! Re accommodation for 3 adults shared Apt #2 in early spring: great bed and sleeper sofa, plenty of hot water and pressure, clean and well laid out, very courteous staff and felt very secure. However overall for the cost, the apartment needs attention and updating - from furnishings to carpeting to grouting. Also loved the new washer/dryer but would have been most useful if it came with instructions or staff who knows how to operate it:) In any case, would return for the location itself.
