I just stayed for a week as I was on an educational trip near by and it is in a great location, super clean, safe, friendly staff although I hardly saw anyone.
Super close to all the big supermarkets and airport and petrol stations!
The bed was super comfy, the only downside is people coming in or departing early to catch flights and you can hear some noise but after about midnight its dead quiet.
I would stay here again for sure.

After landing late at LGW all I wanted was a simple, clean, comfortable B&B. The Lawn met that is every aspect. Easy procedure for late check in. It is a £20 taxi ride away from the South Terminal.

Very convenient for Gatwick Airport; number 100 bus ( stop 9) will take you almost to the Lawn door. All very comfortable and located in a good area for restaurants. The Costa Del Sol does a great paella offer, plus drink for under £40 total !

Terrible: During my stay, a nearby guest talked all night (till 5am) on the phone or video conference, with no regards to time nor other guests. Sadly, I couldn't work out which room she was in, so couldn't ask her to keep quiet. Okay, not entirely the hotel's fault, except that this should be made very clear to the guests on arrival and bold letters on booking confirmation or terms. Also a phone no. provided for out of ours issues.
General lack of noise insulation & creaky floors.
Minor issue, no decaf coffee !
