The New Globe Inn

One of my favourite places to stay that possibly has a ghost ! Five minutes walk from the bs and train station and the beer is kept just right Large rooms at a reasonable price, but could do with a portable fan for hot weather and the bedside lamps in room 1 did not work Lively Karaoke on a Friday evening and room I was given I could people watch . Pice it can’t be beaten and I’d rate it 9 out of 10 as the hallway toilet could do with redecorating

Hotel section is a bit dated and toilet/shower areas could do with a refurb but generally everything was ok. For what we wanted it was more than adequate.

Stayed at The New Globe May 21st due to work lads night out. Good value for money, comfy bed tea & coffee. Would definitely stay again

We've stayed here before the pub is in the town center with free parking. Rooms are dated but clean, double usb sockets on bedside lamp (nice touch). Staff are polite and friendly. Nice cheap accommodation in the heart of malton. Busy karaoke bar but not too noisy in the room. Will stay again.

It is near all the amenities shops, restaurants, bars

The place was cheap and cheerful, wasn’t en suite, but wasn't a problem. Was near to Malton railway station, so handy for train. At price charged, you couldn't really expect any more. I was happy 😊

Nice central location with free parking. Good price, comfortable room.

Good enough for a few nights stay whilst visiting NYMR Autumn Steam Gala. Room could have done with a chair.

It is what it claimed to be, and we enjoyed our stay. The owner/proprietors are friendly and we enjoyed our chat with them. There are excellent restaurants for tea and dinner within a short walking distance. The pub is very welcoming, as well.

I liked the room. Parking was easy. Host was friendlyDid not know it was over a bar until I arrived, so it was noisy until after midnight. I just wish I was aware of this possibility when I booked

Paul and his staff of this lovely 18 th Century pub are really nice and welcoming. After a busy weekend with Glasgow and Leeds LGBTQl+ pride events I decided to stagger my journey back to a not nice place where I currently live. Great room which was massive and I was served a lovely wainwright ale followed by Guinness. Only negative is the WiFi in the room did not work but found the room easy to check out at 06-15 am in the morning to get the 843 bus to Scarborough at 06-45 at the nearby Malton bus station Everything was immaculately clean including the shared toilet and shower and at the price charged the room was a bargain I would stay again as the accommodation is friendly towards Non binary and lgbt people and is also a great live music venue

It has free parking and is in a good position in the centre of Malton. It is very good value for money and I will stay there again

Excellent stay, excellent staff, would definitely stay there again!!

The first night I stayed it was so loud I only got about 2.5 hours sleep.

I enjoyed being there staff were so friendly, even the locals, weather was nice food was lovely easy to get to places
