Great accommodation beautiful place. We checked in after 6pm and the front desk staff was lovely guided to our room and told us what was around. We had informed the hotel it was our anniversary and they had beautifully decorated our room. We managed to go to the pool, sauna, jaccuzi and steam room the following morning of our stay which was amazing! It was quiet and wonderful experience. Would definitely come bacj again!

Clean and nice looking hotel especially the restaurant overlooking the lake area. The room was nice enough and clean but our beds were not set up as a double so they had to come and change it. This was awkward as I came back to the room 2 hours later and the staff was still changing the bed. Bedding nice and soft but the mattress is hard. The bathroom was nice on first look but the tiles had a big crack in it which had been patched up which made the bathroom not look so good, the shower wasn’t the best.
Food was really nice in the restaurant and the staff in there were very polite and professional. It is pricey and there is a service charge.
Overall nice stay for the money.

It was meant to be a special getaway, I booked the suite for me and my girlfriend as I was proposing and asked for them to do something in the room but it never happened, the room was clean but loads of dust on the lamps, the room was spacious and great value and so was the food and drinks, for a weekend spa break it’s perfect but if you want anything more I wouldn’t recommend it as I was so excited to see my finances face bit to walk in to a normal suite. The ladies on reception did apologise but no good will gesture from the hotel for the mistake

Lovely setting, rooms a little tired, furniture worn, but clean. Spa showers are a joke, more water leaks from fittings than from the shower head. Bar area for bar food full /busy with golfers - so impossible to sit and eat here, but there is a main restaurant. Staff very friendly.

Property is dated and too expensive for what it is. No smart TV, no usb charging points, tired looking bathroom & spa area, decor out of the 90s. However the surrounding countryside views out towards the Chiltern Hills & Aylesbury Vale are stunning. The property was also impeccably clean

Great location and staff very helpful and friendly. There was a wedding happening whislt we stayed there and apart from seeing the bride and groom doing their photos we didnt even know a wedding was happening. Nice countryside walk into Thame as well.
If i had to find issues then the room could have done with some complimentary water and dressing gowns though which was a bit of a surprise considering we were in a suite and the cost of it. Car park is a bit of a walk if its raining. However those little things didnt ruin a great 2 night stay!

Friendly reception staff, easy check in/out.
Room was clean, with eco toiletries but room was looking tired.
Breakfast service was very good, as was the breakfast. No fresh coffee, it was an automatic machine with UHT milk. Lovely view of the golf course at breakfast time, shame about the dirty windows.
We used the restaurant in the evening, a service charge is added, not sure what for, as a waiter took our order, food served, no check to see if the meal was ok, left to our own devices, an expensive meal and service charge for no service!,
Pool area - the changing rooms and comments are the same as what you find on trip advisor from a few years ago. Wet/pools of water in the changing rooms. Showers useless in the changing room, dirty cubicles. Plastic bags provided for wet swimwear. Cold showers in the pool area. Sauna ok, steam room not hot.

Room was nice, used the spa too, is in need of a bit of an upgrade especially the changing rooms.
Ordered room service - the food was not great very salty and not worth the money paid for, breakfast was also disappointing.
