The White Swan

Despite responding to the email request to confirm arrival time 7 days before our booking & communicating we would arrive at 7:30pm & were driving, and then 2 days prior to our booking asking to reserve parking, we arrived at the hotel to find the parking was closed due to an event which nobody had bothered to tell us about. We had to drive around for 20 minutes to try & find parking, then eventually park 10 minutes away on insecure street parking, nearer to the Premier Inn which we could/should have booked instead. Awful lack of communication/response & didn't get the free parking specified on the booking, which was one of the main reasons we booked causing us considerable inconvenience.

We stayed here due to an early morning flight , would recommend. We had a lovely meal and drinks . Room very clean and staff excellent.

What a true gem of a place! From the check in at the bar to the spacious and comfy room I would stay here again for sure! the bar was joyous and nice to get a drink or relax!

Nice enough place. Big popular pub. Beer and food available. Right next to large lake. Will stop again. Can also leave car there for small fee if flying from airport.

Excellent - Easy parking and great bar and Sunday lunch to die for.

Very convenient to the airport and free parking so did exactly what we wanted. We arrived late and left early so didn’t have a chance to eat there. Comfortable beds.

Loved our stay here, shower could do with a bit of a scrub but other than that perfect. Remember it is above a pub so it is noisy till about Midnight and you are sleeping upstairs.

Hotel very nice, bed was hard, if you like this. Room was good and so was the bathroom. Food was ok , for sunday lunch but was £2 extra for beef. Overall nice stay for the airport if travelling

I ordered the Sunday Lunch which was very good and loads of it washed down with a very nice and reasonable bottle of Portugese Wine. The only strange part was going to the bar to order and pay for it up front and then asked if you wanted to leave a tip before you had been served anything and did not know if the service was going to be any good which was very strange - I feel sorry for the staff as I declined the tip upfront but then had no cash with me to make my usual 10% tip after I finished Other than that the stay was very good and some nice cask ales served in the bar Dave Garnham

It was very good clean shame they did not do breakfast.

Property fine.... Bizarre £30 additional charge to check in late, as far as I can see £30 gets you an email with lock box instructions.... Rip off!!

Check in was literally ‘leave your key here when you check out, food is served for another hour’. Room was fine although I doubt we had the king sized bed that was on the booking, more like a double. We had food

Great location overlooking a cricket club and perfect for airport. Had a lovely meal and staff were very helpful and friendly. Room had everything we needed and bed very comfortable.

This hotel is very handy for the airport, the food was very good and good value the room is pleasant and comfortable although no hot water or plug in bathroom basin. Unfortunately we won't be able to return because of the loud music playing in the bar till midnight so no sleep due to this and the noise of people leaving throughout the night for the airport.

The staff was very helpful. They arranged an early morning taxi to the airport and everything went as planned.
