Fantastic location in the legal precinct code to everything - walk and/or tube/busses. Staff were great and responsive. Loved the cafe and the complimentary coffee and tea and daily wine and cheese if you are a member! Cafe food also good for light meals. Rooms aren’t big but perfect for me and I had a lovely view from my window. Room was very quiet. Great value for money. Had a maintenance issue in my room but was fixed quickly.

The smallest hotel room I have ever staying - but it works. Really terrific staff, quiet, clean room and a great vibe.

There was construction outside of the property that included drilling & jackhammering. Not really the hotels fault, but what is there fault is that they put us in a basement room. So we had the privilege of listening to the jackhammers at all hours. Also, they clearly covered crumbling floors with rubber mats or something because the floor just dipped into a hole when you stepped on them. They apologized and offered us a free drink on the way out, but I would have preferred they were proactive in their hospitality approach.

The Z Hotel was a perfect 2 day stay in London. My goal was to see great art and get a feel for Bankside. Within walking distance was Tate Modern, Somerset House, Bankside Gallery, Globe Theater, Covent Garden, and West End theaters. The hotel staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room was small with no window but it was clean and well designed. Definitely only room for one person. The little cafe was a bonus for an early cup of tea and a late night glass of wine.

When we got back to the hotel, we were shocked to find our luggage had been moved to another room without permission. Even worse, my son’s bag—with his iPad and cellphone inside—was left behind in the room along with other people’s belongings.

Quite a comfortable, cost-effective stay in a convenient, agreeable part of London. My room was small but had been thoughtfully kitted out with everything I needed. Might be a bit tight with two, though. Bed a bit firm but I slept well. They are still using individual packs of toiletries: nowadays I really prefer dispensers fixed to the wall. Breakfast was OK, though nothing to write home about. The little cafe-restaurant was quite crowded - not helped by a member of staff blocking one table apparently working out duty rosters etc.. Quite a nice, basic hotel: I would (shall!) return.

Short trip to London and was looking for a reasonable stay since London is so expensive. Relatively decent price, very tiny, tiny room. View left something to be desired but it served the purpose of needing a place to sleep and shower for a night. Bed was very firm and the room was pretty hot even with the AC on.

Area is pretty central, but still a good 15-30 minute walk to pretty much anything. Sheets were stained, room is small. For the price it is not bad. (Besides the stained sheets)

This hotel was a 30 minute walk so when we got off the train we walked and when we were going back home to the train we walked. This hotel is also a 10-15 minute walk from all the landmarks / sightseeing! We got to see all the landmarks in 1 day! There was bars and restaurants around our area, so it was still lively - but lovely and quiet. Our room was a lovely size, we couldn’t have asked for anything more! Absolutely loved the smell of the hotel when we walked in everytime. Staff were amazing and quick to checking us in and out - pizza was great too! Would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is very centrally located. The rooms are very very small and it was not as clean as it should have been. I found a hair in one of my teacups and on the bathroom floor. Something in the corner of the room where the bed is totally set off my allergies. It made me wonder if the hotel allows pets and if they do they need to ask customers if they have allergies and have rooms for them where pets are NOT allowed. For a two night stay it was ok but probably wouldn’t stay there for longer.

Clean and efficient. Small frontage to property but reception was efficient and the room although small, was well maintained (it looked very new). Queen bed was against a wall- not ideal if there are two of you but good as a solo traveller. Offered complimentary glass of wine and cheese. Recommended

In a nice area. Great pub McMullen set inside the Old Bank of England. Good atmosphere! Hotel room tiny, but functional. You'd go out to explore the area. No views as in the basement.

Very compact room, but works. Clean and comfy. Only little thing is air con could be allowed to go down to a lower temp as it got super hot. Only could go down to 16 degrees and the fan made noises. Overall for the price point it's very solid.

Just one problem - a leaking toilet meant the cistern was refilling every 2 minutes, all night. The rooms a micro rooms which the bathroom in the same room behind a glass wall so you can hear everything. Very little sleep. The staff offered me a coffee by way of apology the morning after.
