Excellent city centre mini-apart hotel

Great hotel alternative centrally based, convenient location and super helpful customer service, highly recommend.

Room was good but ridiculously small shower not good. We accidentally went to the wrong room on check-in but our code worked on that as well! Someone else’s bags in there. This is a security risk but no one was interested. Appalling. Also constantly bombarded with email etc - irritating and unnecessary. Won’t use you again.

Thank you. Good hotel for the best price. It was hot in the room because the building is historical and they are not allowed to install AC (the explanation I got). It was enough to open a window but I won’t choose this hotel if I stay in summer. There were some fans available that you can get in the basement but I didn’t need them as mentioned above.

We had really nice stay in Tallinn. Location was perfect and the apartment really nice. Door codes worked well and it was easy to communicate with the staff through the whatsapp. Breakfast place nearby was really nice too.

We arrived at 8:30 PM on a Thursday with our two young children but we could not even enter the apartment which uses 'codes' on a door. Before our arrival, after paying in full, we were provided with a code and were instructed that we could briefly park in the car park near the building to unload our luggage. We were then sent 3 or 4 different new codes, none of which worked. Each response took about 10-15 minutes, meaning we spent over an hour trying to access our room, with two upset children sitting in a car. It's hard to describe how incredibly stressful this situation was. Our car was illegally parked, our children were hungry and crying, and both my wife and I were exhausted and frustrated. By the time we finally gained access to our room, it was well past 10 PM. All the nearby restaurants were closed, leaving us with no options to feed our kids, who were understandably very upset. Adding insult to injury, we received a parking fine due to the extended delay. The entire ordeal caused us to sleep in late the following day, which shortened our time to explore Tallinn. Besides this, when we finally got into the apartment there were no bed sheets for the 2nd bed and we had to interact with Bob W on whatsApp and then finally had to go down late at night to the basement to get the bedding. We've contacted the hosts and owners three times to try to resolve the situation after our stay, but they have refused to even answer the emails.

Great property, comfortable, great location and cozy and excellent communication

Bob W Avangard is located directly across from Tallinn University. Since I was attending a conference at the university, the location was perfect for me. The bed was very comfortable and the space was clean. The lack of any personnel on-site was no problem except that after I checked out, it would have been nice to have been able to leave my luggage to keep until my flight departure that night. I ended up using the Bounce app and leaving my luggage at Tallinn City Bike, which worked fine. I saw someone complaining about the kitchen area not having a microwave, and yes - a microwave would have been nice, but I'm not sure I would have actually used one even if it had been available. I did really appreciate the espresso machine.

Top place, simple, nice location, clean.

Bob's place in Tallinn is great. The apartment is super clean and has all the amenities that you may need. Bob's staff were very helpful and they were always available to help. The apartments location is perfect and it's few minutes walk from Old town. there is also a grocery store across street. We will be back :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it exceeded expectations. The double bed was curtained off which made it feel separate to the rest of the room, and it was perfectly fine for four of us to stay here. Everything was very clean and tidy with thoughtful little touches and the company clearly has good values at heart. Would definitely stay in a Bob again. We found everything we needed in the hotel room and more. Definitely recommend for a stay in Tallinn.

Excellent location, coded access, free laundromat downstairs, lots of amenities!

Great hotel without any hassle.

Comfortable and convenient location for a very reasonable price. Self check in was easy and I got messages on Whatsapp asking if I needed anything.

I had rented Comfy Studio apartment which was very un-comfy Pros • The location is great: close to shopping, walking distance to Vanalinn (Old Town of Tallinn), and also to Kadiorg Palace and Park. For those who prefer, electric shooters are available for short rental on every corner. • In the apartment the modern kitchenette has a sink, induction cook top, exhaust, an electric kettle and even a small dishwasher (in case you need it), but no microwave. A kettle and a microwave would just have done it for me. • Building and room are clean • From the outside the building is indistinguishable, but hallways are nice once entering. Neither Pro nor Con • There is no reception and guests have no contact with staff in person. Entry to building and room are with number codes. Communication is by email, WhatsApp or phone calls. Cons • The whole “apartment” is extremely small, about the size of a postal stamp with a strange real estate layout. It is best described as a kitchenette with a bed attached. The place is uncomfortably small for one person, torture for two people. • The queen-size bed touches one side wall of the room on the head end and the other wall on the bottom. The width of the room is exactly the length of the queen size bed. On the right side it abuts the window at the end of the room. Hence, one cannot walk around the bed. It is accessible only on the left side. The person sleeping on the right side of the bed has to get in first or step over the other person.

Fint, modernt hotell nära centrum. Rummen rymliga och fina. Sköna sängar. Pentry med spis, kyl och diskmaskin. Rent och snyggt. Affär nära. Enda smolken var stt inte kapselkaffemaskinen funkade. Men det gick att lösa på annat sätt. Väldigt nöjd med hotellet och åker gärna tillbaka.

Way to small bathroom that get flooded when you shower. They cleaned the drain but it didn't help. To few lamps make the place dark. The bed was located so one person needed to climb over the other. Not at all pleased.

We liked the design and feel of the property, felt more like a home apartment than a stale hotel room. Would benefit from having a toaster and microwave.
