Chachacha Hôtel

Clean, comfortable, nice staff, good beds. Great view of the cathedral from my room. 2 mins walk from the train or tram, good food nearby, convenience store and post box next door. Can't ask for more!

We had a room booked, prepaid in full a few months ahead of our trip. Unfortunately when we arrived we received a room on the 1st floor that had a very strong smell of urine and sewer. We requested a different room as it was uninhabitable. Given that the hotel was apperantly full they could not accommodate a change, that was understandable. We went around the neighborhood to another hotel nearby and found a lovely room at another hotel that was nice and clean and habitable. The issue came because we were not given a full refund even if we did not use the room at all as it was simply uninhabitable due to the odor, they offered to refund half of our two night stay. So, my suggestion is stay away as their customer service is sub par and their rooms smell like a public bathroom. By the way, the room also faced an alley that we later saw random people urinating near the door that lead into the room itself, so perhaps that's why it smelled the way it did. Said room also had no window, just said urin filled door, that only opened partially at the top a few inches so airing out the room was not possible either.

This was by far my favourite hotel during my recent holiday in France. The gentleman on reception was particularly charming and friendly. The hotel decor was quirky and cheerful. Our bedroom was spotless and welcoming. I will definitely return to Nantes. This was my first time here and I truly loved the experience!

Great location for the station and airport connection, a stones throw to the botanic gardens and a five minute walk to the historic centre of the city. The staff were exceptionally helpful, rooms were immaculate and comfy and overall the hotel is stylish and quirky. For the price this is exceptional value. There was an issue with the lift during our stay; I can imagine the stairs to the upper floors could have been challenging some some, but these things happen. Perfect for a short wknd break would definitely stay again

I had an amazing stay at this wonderful hotel. The staff were great and the room was very comfortable, so much so, I stayed an extra day. I will most definitely be staying here again.

The hotel was well maintained with colourful decor. There was a good choice at breakfast and the available water was well thought of. The hotel's greatest advantage though was proximity to the train station. I'd have no hesitation in staying again.

The entire front desk staff were nice. Very attentive. The hotel is clean. The location is perfect and explore.

The room was very clean and ours had a small balcony with great views over the City. Staff were very friendly and informative. The decor throughout the Hotel was very imaginative. Great location.

First off- the Staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and very nice. Breakfast is worth the money. Ron was gorgeous, super clean. Overall this hotel is beautiful and relaxing and exciting. We WILL stay here again. Even the view from our room was charming.

Perfect! newish hotel, efficient friendly welcome from staff. Comfy bed. Good idea with carafe in room to fill with free water. Kettle in room with small selection of teas. Good location - 5 mins walk to train station with airport transfer (approx 30 mins). Recommended

Great location, less than five minutes walk from trains, trams, buses, bars, restaurants, and the excellent Jardin de Plantes. Really warm, friendly welcome at check-in. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable, spacious bathroom, and it was silent at night which was a pleasant surprise for a city centre hotel. Will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Nantes

The room was very clean and had a great view. The staff was really helpful. You do have to park across the street, but if you don’t mind walking couple minutes this place is great.

Room was clean and had everything I needed. Check-in was easy through a kiosk. At checkout the front desk person was patient with my poor language skills.

The room was well appointed. The breakfast was surprisingly good with a variety of choices.

The hotel was a good three star in a perfect location next to trains, trams, buses and the wonderful Jardin des Plantes. Staff had an excellent command of English. Rooms were very clean and modern. The only criticism was that we would have preferred to have the choice of a hot breakfast on the menu. €16 for cold buffet seemed excessive. We would recommend this hotel.

It was a very short stay because my flight was changed. Location made it very easy to find, and the area around was easy to navigate to find a restaurant. As a solo traveler I felt very safe. The hotel is lovely, and I wish I'd had more time to enjoy it. I would definitely recommend it! Nice & helpful staff.
