Grand Hôtel Magenta

Basic hotel, fine for a night or two. The cleaning was a bit lacking and the room needs some TLC. That said, it was a good amount of space for a family of 5, and we had a fridge in the room. The staff were lovely and I appreciated the coffee machine for 1€ cappuccinos to start the day.

Great location the rooms were cleaned daily , only down side was a kettle to make a brew in the morning , but that said there is a cafe that is reasonably price right out side

Pros: The staff was very pleasant and let us check in early. The room was clean, fairly spacious and the beds were comfortable. We had an issue with the shower door and the staff fixed it immediately. They allowed us to store our bags for a few hours after checkout. The train station for the EuroStar was about two blocks from the hotel. Cons: The room faced the street and was extremely loud. There were sirens constantly and car horns at the intersection all day and night. Although the bedroom and bathroom were clean, there was a large hole in the wall in the bathroom with exposed pipes. The television was very small and mounted too high to comfortably watch while sitting on the bed and there was about ten feet of extra cable hanging from it. The hallway when you got out of the very tiny elevator was completely dark and we had to use our phone flashlights to find the door lock. The neighborhood was not great. Most of the stores in the area sold wedding dresses and men's wedding tuxedos and suits, which was not ideal for tourists. There was a nice patisserie nearby, but otherwise the restaurants seemed like they were very average or they were fast food. Public transportation was necessary to visit any Paris landmarks.

Very convenient location to transportation and fabulous bakeries. Rooms were quite dirty. Beds comfortable with clean sheets. Hot shower and washroom supplies provided. No elevator. Staff very accommodating.

One of the windows did not close so it was quite noisy and the mattress was terrible.

Excellent in everything , Maybe improve a little more on cleanliness inside the room.

We wanted an hotel near to Gare du Nord as we were getting an early train the following morning and this was 3 minutes walk away. The hotel is very comfortable but the lift is very cramped, but so welcome, as was the concierge's welcome. Hotel looks like it could do with a steam clean but the room was a nice size although the toilet and bathroom were on opposite sides of the bedroom, bizarrely.... Great price and easy to find, a good place to stay if you need somewhere close to the station and restaurants

Boa localização, recepção 24 horas, staff atencioso. Única coisa estranha, no quarto utilizado, era o banheiro, uma parte para cada lado. Nunca havia visto…

The hotel was ok for one star hotel. One of the plugs in our room didn’t work but we had spare one. We asked for new clean pillow cases and the staff sorted it out. The staff is very friendly.

Very wonderful place to staff, staffs were amazing, room cleaned daily, bed sheets and towels changed daily. Very nice place and very close to station, restaurants, café, everything. Will definitely stay there again.

Good price for central Paris , close to Eurostar, helpful friendly staff

Room small,and no A/C and noisy area

Hyvä sijainti. Julkisilla liikennevälineillä pääsee viereen ja Gare du Nordin asema lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä. Ranskalaiseksi hotelliksi tilava huone ja suuri kylpyhuone. Vähän kulunut huone ja hotelli. Heikko äänieristys mutta ulkoa ei juurikaan kuulu ääntä kun ikkuna on kiinni. Siisteydestä pidettiin huolta mutta siivooja tuli vauhdikkaasti huoneeseen koputtamatta. Ystävällinen henkilökunta.
