Room was ok. Conveniently located

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We were able to store our bags and were allowed to stay in the reception while waiting for our train back home. We didn’t like the location, it does not have the best atmosphere and quite far from all the attractions. Hotel structure is also disappointing. Reception area is nice/recently renovated. However, the corridors and rooms are dated with poor decor. The bathroom (specifically the toilet) was not clean. Breakfast was also disappointing: bad coffee (from a machine), a lack of traditional local products, no fresh sliced fruit (though some whole fruits available). Having read the good reviews about breakfast we expected a bit more.

Convenient location to walk around Lille. Staff were excellent, especially Julia at reception who gave fabulous restaurant recommendations and even booked us a table. Bedroom was a little compact, but had everything we needed. I would definitely stay again. Thank you!

A* STAFF. Easy flat walk to all main areas ie westfield shopping centre, the big christmas market the normal sunday market. All the eateries and love architecture.

Our bedroom was very cold. The heating did not work. We were given a convection heater to take the chill off. There was no hot water to shower, in the evening nor in the morning. The staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful.

Hotel in excellent location, easy to locate with good spacious underground parking (be aware, extremely tight getting around the bends.) Staff very welcoming, helpful and friendly on our arrival and throughout. Room great, ok size, great shower. Forgot my shampoo & conditioner, always dumfounded as to why some hotels only provide shampoo yet, no conditioner, not a huge deal just for awareness 😊 1st morning at breakfast nightmare, you have to guard your table with your life when it's that busy, we had someone just plonk themselves on our table with their breakfast and everything! As we only had drinks on the table, he moved them out of the way and carried on eating regardless. (I told him he was rude and managed to find another spot). There were no coffee cups or staff to be seen for about 10 minutes however, all was back to normal with a full stock and staff. Fresh produce was still being brought out and it was really nice. Needless to say we worked out that the best time to go down, would be around 0945 /10:00. Unless you're a v early riser I believe it's also quiet between 7 & 8... The entry door of the carpark was broken for the whole weekend, it was fixed by the time we checked out but, we paid for secure parking which we did not receive therefore I shall be sending an additional concern to HIExpress. We also expressed our concern at reception who did explain what had happened. Overall, a great stay ..v clean & stylish hotel. (Buy water from the shop!)

The water in both the shower and basin was uncontrollably scalding hot. The receptionist, when informed, could not have been more helpful and things improved. Rather a grubby area of Lille, which is undergoing a huge amount of roadworks, with many roads closed. The underground car park is a huge bonus

Not too far away from main square,but was also plenty going around the hotel lits of bars and restaurants.The lady on reception when we arrived Julia was really helpful aswell

The area didn’t feel particularly safe although it was close to the centre. The a/c didn’t work, the room was on the small side as was the bed. The entry and exit to the car park were very very tight. In other hotels we’ve stayed in during this trip we were able to make hot drinks in the breakfast area for free but we had to pay here. The lady at check in was very friendly and super helpful. Checkout was quick too

We stayed here for one night as part of a road trip and we'd happily stay here again. Unfortunately the air con was out of action during our stay, but they were courteous enough to tell us in advance and compensated us with free parking and a fan to take into the room, so all is forgiven!

Really great location for seeing Lille. We went for the Olympics so needed a transport route which was very easy to get to. Walking to town was also very easy and very near beaux-arts museum for a great day out. Breakfast was OK but handy to have this available. We liked having the bar as well for an end of evening drink

I liked the convenience to landmarks, restaurants, and shopping. The staff there were prompt and friendly. The breakfast could have had more variety.

The staff where great our room was spotless and the free breakfast was fantastic suck an easy place to us as a base for exploring

Pretty central with extremely helpful staff

Basic accommodation & no clothing storage space for anything more than 2 nights. Bathroom required a good clean especially around the shower area, toiletries a good addition. Breakfast very basic, more fat on the bacon than meat. Sunday morning breakfast room totally overrun, too many guests not enough food, condiments. Staff on the reception very pleasant & helpful.
