Excellent location and all is a walking distance

Based on the ants in my room I wasn't interested in waking up early and paying extra to try breakfast. Seems like it wouldn't be that hard for them to fill in the gaps in the molding they get through, and these ants have been complained about in numerous reviews. I was foolish not to heed the warning. I'll give them bonus points for decent shower gel and a great location, unfortunately the proximity to Republique caused me to be assaulted by a Paris police officer when I went out for some groceries during a Gaza protest late in my stay. The ants though, the ANTS. I booked this over a two star hotel with better reviews because I trusted the third star, but nothing offered here elevating it beyond two stars except maybe the free nespresso pods which were a big plus. If your blanket touches the floor at any point while you're sleeping, expect to feel ants crawling on you and to have nightmares about them for the rest of your stay. Wifi was so slow that I had to use my data plan and mobile device only, making my laptop useless. Also weird to have to hand your keys back to reception every time you want to leave the building, felt like prison furlough every time I walked out. Staff was very friendly though, I can't blame them for what was clearly an ownership problem. They need an exterminator and new wireless routers. No AC or minibar/fridge (needed cuz ants). The tiny lift was actually kind of charming and not a negative at all for me, especially since it worked.

For the price I can't complain. The elevator was so small, it could only fit either 1 person with your suitcase or just 2 people with no suitcases. Also the room was CRAZY small. There was barely any floor space. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Also, the location was excellent.

Have stayed at beaurepaire many times. It’s clean the staff are great and it’s quiet. My only complaint is no mini fridge and the house keeping like to put your clean clothes on your dirty luggage

Small space so would be tight for 2 people. Tiny showers. Not much airflow with no fans or AC so do not recommend during hotter times

Very clean, very nice staff but extremely small room, impossible to connect to WiFi in the room and could hear whatever was happening in all the rooms around: the room above’s toilet flushing and shower felt like they were directly connected to my bed board!

Not the same as the pictures, advertised with big beds and decent size room, when the gave me my room ( 61 ) was really small, with two twin beds, when I rented a queen bed room! The elevator was so small only two person without moving and without the laugage can fit! And for the price not worth it!

Great area for young ppl

Asked for assistance in getting the room safe to work and after several requests to attempt to get it fixed, I stopped asking.

Great stay, staff were helpful, room was plenty big and very clean. Great location. Would stay here again.

The hotel was very nice and in a great location right next to a main metro station. Perfect little room for a couple to spend in Paris, however, shower is quite small. All in all, would recommend and rebook!

The property is near the transport and concert hall, very convenient for visiting paris for 1-2 days

Very small room even though it was supposed to be for 2 people the elevator was just big enough for me and my carryon sized luggage It’s not terrible but there were dozens more hotels that might have been better

I almost never leave a review, but Hotel Beaurepaire was splendid. The hotel staff are English-speaking and super friendly, particularly the monsieur (I did not get his name) at the front desk who was working the noon-afternoon shift. Thoughtful touches like a loaner umbrella. Great, artsy neighborhood with solid food and shopping options that’s off the beaten tourist path, but also a block away from the well-connected Republique metro station. Note that the elevator is on the tiny side and the late-night brasseries nearby can get loud (I didn’t mind either).

Knowing the area and similar hotels, I basically got what I expected. Clean, small, decent price and I know the area. The breakfast was nice. For those not used to smaller hotels..ask for lower level room as the elevator is exemplary of tiny Parisien elevators. I noticed an accumulation of dust on the tile walls in my room's bathroom...maybe time for a wall wipe down.

Excellent budget hotel. Price correct for the size of room. Simple but adequate. Clean. Very polite and helpful staff. Not the Ritz, however you are not paying the price of the Ritz. Room is small. This is Paris. Good shower water pressure. Nespresso coffee station. Opening window. Perfect for my needs. Very happy. Would stay again.

Extremely small room and bathroom adjacent bed. Window just faces inner shaft of building. I was cold and tried to call reception to ask for an extra blanket, but no one answered, even when I tried to reach them for over an hour. There was some black hair in my bedsheets, so I didn’t feel like they were fresh and clean, and had a hard time sleeping. The hotel manager told me I had to leave my key at reception, but when I came back late at night, the receptionist didn’t even ask for my name. I asked him how he knew I wasn’t just a random person walking in off the street, and his response was I should have kept the key. The next morning the receptionist and other staff were apologetic and offered me a coffee, but that didn’t quite make up for the fact that I barely slept.

The staff were kind and accommodating, and the property is located near quality dining.
